Buy both to be honest, part and parcel of the matchday experience, shame if they dont do a programme anymore.
Strange one this as i dont recall seeing him in any pictures of when they do things for the community, school visits etc either, its like hes completely vanished..
Actually, talking about Omar’s .. whatever happened to Omar Bogle ? Didn’t he go of to Cardiff ? never heard anything of him since..
Pleased for Warne and Pollitt. Always like to see ex latics men doing well.Got to feel for Shrewsbury though after being the only side who got anywhere close to the top 2. Probably deserved to go up, but thats the playoff lottery for ya.
Any Shrews players you would look at? Beckles maybe or the keeper if we don’t get Walton?
From what I saw of Beckles he was hopeless – clumsy, dirty and caught out a few times, don’t think he would improve our squad at all.
Hes one of the most one footed players ive ever seen, he panicked if he had to use his right peg, when there was a break on or you could see a pass on, if it was on his right he would just turn away, pop it back onto his left and by that time the phase of play had moved on. He had fitness issues, and IMHO was an average player at best – steady, but offered nothing spectacular.
I think they will keep him and not go ahead with the rumoured signing of Callum Elder, because when a team mate shouts “Give it to Callum” during a game, this could lead to confusion amongst the players and possibly mean the wrong Callum is passed to and the ball is passed back instead of to the namesake forward who was clear through on goal … Agree ?
As I said in my previous reply on this thread .. the takeover (or not) can have a significant say on our attendances next season .. PLUS all the other replies on this thread such as improving/upgrading/screens etc, this ALL could happen if we get new owners, a big cash injection and they want to see us move forwards..
Next years attendance could well depend on if we get taken over and how much money is available for transfers and who we buy with that etc
Maybe im in the minority but i wont be deflated or whatever if we dont win the title. Mission accomplished as far as im concerned so will be there today completely relaxed and have a few bevvies.

I think if we seal promotion today we may see more of cole in the remaining games, we just need those 4pts ASAP. As for James, IMO ive never really rated him, gets in to real trouble if he has to use his right peg, new left back a must for next season. Up the Latics !
