We are signing two players before weekend.

The first one is Andrew Taylor from Cardiff. A 27 year old Left wing-back who has played 100 games for Cardiff since signing in 2011. before that he played over 100 times for Middlesbrough. B)

The second one is James Tavernia a 22 year old right back who has spent most of his career on loan at various clubs. He is a Newcastle player, but spent most of last year on loan at play off promotion winners Rotherham. B)

And the Euro lottery is …….?

I can’t see the FFP rules making any difference anyway, and part of me thinks the rules themselves should’t have been brought in anyway.
If a club acquires a rich benefactor who wants to through billions at a club, why should he not be allowed to?
Why if you have small income through the turnstiles should you not be able to spend your benefactors money to improve yourself if he is willing to spend it.

If I remember correctly, wasn’t this how the Latics got themselves out of the 3rd tier and on their way to the premiership. Clearly it wasn’t a billionaire owner, but Mr Welan did dig deep to assemble a well-paid squad to get out of that division and then on to the premiership a couple of years later.
We on about the same Whelan here ??? that’s like comparing broken glass to diamonds ffs

I know you’re fishing – but the club (not him personally) did use the money to plug the gap in finances caused by loss of Premier League money and to support the wage bill.

Don’t you mean to pay for that lump o lard who went Villa ? Jesus he’s back, it’s easier to get rid of crabs !

Caldwell isn’t good enough. In the Prem apart from those last seven games the season we stayed up he wasn’t good enough. He’s been out all season comes back and missed a penalty at Wembley setting the tone for the shoot out. Plays well and then lunges in giving away a penalty. You may disagree but he’s a liability and I’d rather see him punch the floor somewhere else

Caldwell didn’t put a foot wrong until the penalty but, as Tyldesley says, people can’t wait to pick on an easy scapegoat.
No but when he does put a foot wrong it’s a size 17’s clog – Swansea , Arsenal , QPR. And by the look on his face and the consoling from Uwe, he knew. I bet me nan’s hips are in better nick than he’s and she’s 87.

Sam Baldock Bristol City ,25 yrs old can play either as a winger or frontman 25 goals this season.
Gomez has confirmed he’s leaving.

Also , who’s worth taking a look at ?

I like the look of Britt Assombalonga, 65 goals in 131 games , 22 yr old and if Peterbro don’t go up might be up for sale. Lets see how he goes against Orient tonight.

Rosler has a summer and next season to stamp his own brand of football at Wigan and for me, will be judged on the next 12 months.

I wonder if he pinches anyone from Brentford, that’s if there’s anyone good enough from there to nick , normally managers hijack one or two players from their old clubs. And I’ve a feeling Whelan will cut the wages bill once again as we’ve no stars that will fetch big money and parachute payments lessen.

Forgive me if I’m wrong here , but we had 5 so called forwards on the books this season gone
Waghorn
Powell (played up front)
Fatty at Villa
Maynard

I would like to know were macca was ?, I couldn’t make it to the game last night but from my armchair all’s I could see was McClean sprinting left to right pulling his plumbs out for the cause while macca was doing his David Copperfield impression.

At one point I had to ask my lad if he’d been subbed. His fitness levels are nil, he was grade one Shiite , was like playing with 10 men.

I don’t know why but I’m not one bit confident. Even agains City in both cup matches and the Arsenal cup game I always had a glimmer of hope but for some unknown reason I just feel things will conspire against us tonight.

Ive a gut feeling that the majority of the ref’s decisions , fouls, handballs, offsides etc will go in QPR’s favor.

The hand of Goater comes to mind.

Got to play Callum presuming he’s fit.

By far our most attacking threat…and likely to win us a free kick in a dangerous area or another penalty :cheer:

He’s either carrying a knock or not fit. Just after he had made a 30-40yrd run with hands on hips he turned and looked at the bench, 5 mins ltr he was subbed. Somethings not right with the lad.

Can action not be taken if it wasn’t seen by the Ref ?. Not only that one but Hill’s leg stuck out on Waghorn should have been a penalty.
As said, It would be disastrous if QPR don’t go up , money talks.
