        Difference is Garner has a strike partner at Nobs and decent service. I think Nobs also play a pressing, attacking game.
        OOOH and the cost. Nobs wouldn’t let him go for nowt.

            Well he certainly did at Wigan and it relegated us .Whenever we played well it was usually when we were in desperation or when Dave kicked his arse. Many supporters think if Bob hadn’t have been so stubborn we would or could have stayed up but that’s history now. Last season was a much better crack seeing us win so many games but the football we played wasn’t exactly brilliant apart from games like the Leicester and Reading games.

                Dicko is a striker.We don’t need them at Latics. We have plenty. Well only one striker needed per game so what would have been the point in keeping him not to play.

                            This council who acted so negatively against us for years and then we win the cup and they are soon around us like flies.
                            I am no lover of The Eggs but apparently this man was quite good so some recognition somewhere is acceptable but please equal this out with all the other sports and their individual heroes around the borough and also keep the cost down Metro.

                                  Well I am buzzing simply because the season is coming soon and would be buzzing whether we have signed players or not and would be buzzing whatever level our club would be playing in.
                                  Just hope there is a trip to Wembley in something and a consistent side playing fast attacking football with lots of goals. A few matches like Yeovil last year but without the last gasp equaliser from Yeovil.
                                  A few matches like Leicester and Reading last season would be nice.
                                  Come on you Latics.
