Well that woke us up. Charnock Richard, Leyland and Southport away watching the youngsters will be fantastic after suffering watching England.
Germany is pushing it for cash and holidays but a chance to for the neutral ground friendlies at Leigh!

OK. Lets play all our games away then! What the frig is wrong with wanting to watch your team at home ffs?
There is no reason we shouldn’t be playing at home.

A team full of LFC players. ‘It wasn’t our fault!’

New ground but not a new team. Played Burton at home in an FA Trophy fixture at Springy in the seventies.
Good news though. New season just around the corner.

I will be supporting England but more importantly Wednesday 16th July Southport away in a pre season friendly is a fixture to get a lot more excited about.

If he was not fully fit he should not have been playing. Maybe playing a half fit player could have been a contributing factor to playing so badly over the last ten or so games.

When Dave took Latics over there was no FFP rules in place. Yes we had a benefactor far outweighing our turnover etc but we didn’t bend any rules.

Chuffed as a butty for Rotherham fans.
Losing Millmoor, having the points deductions, playing in Sheffield, a new ground, promotion to div 2 and now the Championship. What a journey and thats what real football is about. Stuff the Premier Greed and the cheats like City and QPR and their manipulation of the FFP rules.
See you at New Springfield Millers. Well done.

I would rather watch and support Latics in non league than be associated with the egg chasing cuckoo parasitic vermin trespassing shite. Too right Horc NEVER FORGET.

Two more rather prolific Latics strikers discussed here both thrived under the one up front system!!

I would make a cheeky bid for that Dicko lad at Wolves. They must have spotted him somewhere. He got under the radar. I reckon they will be looking for around 7 or 8 million now but a cheeky bid of around five mill may get him.He will be scoring freely for Wolves next season. I wonder why!! Maybe a little service and a strike partner.
Obviously wouldn’t work at Latics nor would Jordan Rhodes if they are left flapping around upfront on their own.

Birmingham stayed up!! Unless they were involved in some egg chasing end of season knockout bollocks thing were the champions are relegated then play second bottom but lose and go straight to the final against the runners up of the Czech rugby league second division and stay up because they spent double what they are allowed on wages but still don’t lose points because the Greek Rugby League could potentially improve super league Europe by merging the two together hence saving the champions from their relegation fate.
We stayed down because we had no decent strikers Egg Mon. Goals make points just ask the fans at Burnley and Leicester.

Good call Horc. Funny on rare occasions when we have two or three strikers on its still been one up front and one or two wide or playing too deep.
