I was told at the weekend he pops a tablet on the touchline around the 60 min mark for cramp or something. Can’t say I’ve ever seen it.We noticed him taking on board some sort of liquid out of a sachet twice on Saturday, one in front of the East Stand during the first half and another in front of the West Stand in the second half!
He does seem to play in fits and starts though. One minute he is flummoxing some hapless defender the next he is leaning forward, hands on knees gasping for breath! I have seen him wave away a possible pass from a teammate because he is goosed from a passage of play! Other times you see him struggling back onside, wincing as he ambles back! Great player but his fitness does appear to be below par somewhat!
If he can find the proverbial onion bag on a regular basis then I wouldn’t care if he had ‘Fuck Off’ tattooed on his forehead! :silly:
Everton’s next 2 league games should see them picking up 6 pts and climbing up the table, but if they get anything less than 3 pts then there may be trouble ahead!
Not sure about Huws myself. If he was bought on the cheap then not really a problem I guess! The gaffer obviously sees something in him to keep picking him and so who am I to argue that but a few folk I know have shown the same concerns as myself! I know nothing of the other signings apart from the fact that Forshaw got player of the year last season in League One but I have never seen him play! The other 2 are even more alien to me!

McCarthy and McArthur came from Hamilton which is a lower level than League One (Forshaw) or French League Two (Delort) and they proved perfectly good enough and grossed a £18M profit just a few years later.

I was referring to the midfielders that he has played along side so far this season! We miss McCann who in my opinion when fully fit is just as good as the 2 you mention if not better. He was just growing into the side when he got injured! Watson also is a shoe in on his return as he is better suited to this division and stands out a mile as one of the better players! Maloney is sorely missed as well and with those 3 and probably Forshaw the midfield will look pretty strong but so far it has been pretty non existent!
