It’s ok, we are booked apparently ! Cheers!
Supporters Club have just put on a seventh coach to cater for those unable to find a way there.Don’t know how to message you Jason. We purchased 4 memberships for the supporters club but can’t book our places on the coach without a membership number! We are concerned that by the time we receive our cards through the post the coach will be booked up and so will it be possible to provisionally reserve our seats? Thanks in advance ;)
Arky’s booked up but I’m sure John Healy had a few places left.Any contact details ? Where does this coach run from?
Try the globe pub at standishBoth coaches fully booked but cheers!
I didn’t mind as long as we went straight back up but now those deluded Rovers fans have started giving it the old “We are the best team in the league” bollocks I would just love it if we win the league! Reminiscent of Keegan there ha ha ha
Will Rovers be on the piss celebrating their promotion last night or will Mowbray rein them in and have a go at the title? Put the champagne on ice as they say!
Ffs last thing we needed the fookers scoring we could blow this COYLThe ball quickly returns to our court! ha ha ha
Here is what a Rovers fan mate of mine wrote on my promotion celebration Facebook status, you can’t make shit like this up!
His opening gambit- “If we hadn’t had a shit start we’d be 20 points clear…just remember that”
Followed by this classic!- “It took us a few games to figure out the demands of the league…we went to Wigan and comfortably played out the game after going down to 10 and then 9 men. Played you off the park at Ewood only to get done by 2 very lucky goals…I have no doubt who the better team is. We have lost the fewest games too. We’ll see who stays up next year shall we…”
I think we rode our luck at times and were lucky to get a point. Burn definitely handled in the box near the end and we should consider ourselves fortunate that a pen wasn’t given! The Gods were on our side with the Rovers result as well, call it rub of the green!
Every opposition team should be respected.
But equally, you pay the big bucks to give yourself the competitive advantage. For that reason I expect Blackburn to win all their remaining games, and respect Mowbray for saying he should take them up automatically. You need that killer instinct and belief you are better than the opposition.
I dont think they will win all their games Gillingham, Peterbourgh and Charlton to come for them and also Bristol Rivers if they get 12 points from them they deserve to win the league but their defender tells me otherwise they leek goals.
I’ll let the Bristol Rivers typo go but which one of their defenders do you know and why is he feeling so negative? :cheer:
Rochdale away won’t be a walk in the park!
We didn’t get into any rhythm, poor passing at times & very slow build up. Fair to say that was one of our poorer performances, but some credit has to go to Portsmouth. Kenny did his homework on us & they chased us down from the front. We’ve not had a team do that to us for a while but when it happens we struggle to cope with it.
When all said and done Portsmouth were lucky to win, and can someone tell me what our goal was disallowed for?
No idea why that goal was disallowed but defending for their second was atrocious.
I haven’t seen it again on the telly but in the ground I assumed it was for offside
Sure I remember seeing the linesman’s flag up but I could be mistaken
Ball went out of play and then back in again from the corner, that’s why the flag went up immediately!
Been watching tonight’s game and Bradford have been absolutely woeful! You would think that they would have given it a go with them still having a chance of the play offs?
With a bit of luck those annoying band members will be arrested, lined up against a wall and shot!
Why not play both Grigg and Vaughan, Sunday was proof enough how good we can be so lets push Walsall back from the off and hopefully take a few of the chances we missed against the Saints. Roberts is very one footed and surely we can overcome the Saddlers without having to overun midfield and be cautious. We need 2 wins at all cost so lets go for it and try to put the games to bed instead of the usual nervy outcomes. C,Mon you tics.
Totally agree with you Nuneaton but sick of getting told that is not the way to do it these days. 2018 way is the one up top way so they say.
Grigg just come on for Vaughan. Never gonna happen lads, get over it! ;)
