That’s just off the top of my head but it’s why we go to football matches.

Happened across this vid last night on youtube, worth a watch to remind us how good this lad was, when he was on it. Hopefully we’ll see a bit more from Wildschut similar.

Just a fringe player/benchman these days for West Brom! Shame he wasn’t taken by a club that could have developed him better! Possibly could be plying his trade in The Championship next season!

Mcann and junior why do u think Dorothy perkins and power are creative they r like a static caravan

Perkins isn’t creative and wasn’t bought as a creative midfielder.

His job is to win the ball back and give it to the creative players.

There’s a saying that for a piano concert you need 1 piano player and 10 piano carriers. Perkins is one of the piano carriers.

            No convinced with Power though.[/quote]

Unfortunately Jonny he gives it to the opposition’s creative players more often than not! On a scale of 1-10 for a League One midfielder I give him a 6 ! Don’t be fooled by the energy! :)

Well he finished a job that Roberto couldn’t finish and so got a high profile job, he was thrown to the lions going to Liverpool! Roberto on the other hand after failing took over a struggling Prem club that had no pressure to do anything, won a major piece of silverware and then took them down! He then took over at Rodger’s chief nemesis club and despite doing no better than the previous manager remains in the hotseat! Clubs and their respective ambitions eh!

I told you what my Blackpool fan mate said when we signed him! Runs around a lot, runs around a very lot but when he does get hold of the ball he invariably gives it away! Some people are more easily pleased than others!

Apparently he is not a bad golfer to. I saw him and his mum walking down to Haigh hall and one of its mates rode past on his bike, his mum shouted Look Donald!

Awful joke but you also have to realise that not everyone comes from Wigan so they might not get it! Think ‘Luck’ ! ;)

Well with the Millwall game out of the way Donny is left needing us to win 3 on the bounce for his prediction to come to fruition! I would take 3 draws right now as the next 3 are tough games!

I’m not feeling too good about tonight, all the same I think this seasons team have greater fight and determination in them, so I’m going for a nail-biting 2 -1, with a last gasp goal.

                          Filmoss – you are wrong – I’m not going – so it’ll be 8209.

MoM to be shared between Perkins and Drummer Boy.

Wrong person! I was right about the draw albeit the wrong scoreline!

That one about how League One works was like something a kid would write for a school project, the sort that you have to stand up at the front of the class to perform, a ‘Talk’ if you will! I once did one on punk bands!

Well I reckon that if we still had Waghorn he would be our best option up front, on saying that it doesn’t mean he would get picked! Tavernier would walk into that right wingback position as well but they have both gone and so it’s all theoretical ! Despite who or where they ply their trade now I personally think that they would stand out as good players in League One and both of them are better than all who have replaced them here!
As a footnote, let’s not forget what division James McArthur and James McCarthy plied their trade in,a division that they stood out in with the latter turning out to be one of the best midfielders in the Prem! Both Wags and Tav are currently stand out players in that same division and I believe they will also stand out in the SPL. It’s all about utilising them and working on their strengths rather than having them sit on a bench week in week out or sending them packing on loan somewhere! More fool us I say but like I said, it’s all notional now so bollocks to it!

Digressing slightly but my lads karate instructor/Sensei at Buckshaw Village comes from Garswood and he also runs classes in Garswood itself, his name is Tony Bewley, does anyone know him?
