I’m bacon on him pulling us out the muck

    I know , I know he’s not a sheep

? What have sheep got to do with it? If you’d said “pig” it would have been Ok ….
wooooosh ! straight over
Yes. I clearly missed that one. And still do.

To put me out of my misery could you explain it to me?
no
What he means George, when he says “no”, is that even he doesn’t get his own ‘joke’

5-4 Now for the drop! My 9-2 is looking like it could be the betting coup of the century! :)

    9-2? Betting coup? Hardly
I thought it was a cracking price considering how shit we have been for months on end! :)
Doesn’t come across well. I like a bet and I know there’s no sentimentality in betting. That’s why I only back FOR us and, like yesterday, when the opposition are at an attractive price (Huddersfield 9/4), I can’t bring myself to back against us because I’d feel pretty shit picking up my winnings if (when) we lose. I hope your winnings are of some comfort as you’re browsing next season’s League 1 fixtures.
I really believe that we will go down and my bet wasn’t ever going to tempt providence, it was meant to soften the blow of something that is out of my hands! I wouldn’t mind losing my stake obviously but what will be will be and should we go down I will have subsidised my season ticket! :)
I was on a 0-0 bet yesterday and it would have been that had they not gotten lucky!
What season ticket? I suspect if we go down you will be among those who we won’t see for dust.
Aha but at least he’ll have £5.50 in his sky rocket!

Call me optimistic in the extreme but I still think we’ve enough quality, albeit got rid of a lot of quality, to get out of this. We’d have even more chance if we had a motivational manager suddenly shocked upon us but I’ve given up all hope of that.
Trust me, it will cover my season ticket! Why would I want to fuck off Griff? Crowds will be down to circa 8,000 but I will still be here !
Oh, I don’t know. I just expect that quite a few people who weren’t around when we were last a regular fixture in League 1 wil slink off whence they came if it happens again.

OK it was a wind up from ny mate and I fell for it. He’d too much of that cheap plonk they dish out at the DWv
On another note I’ve got a budgie for sale, tweet me if you’re interested.

It wasn’t just you – there were a whole host of morons spouting the same shite all over Twitter and Facebook last night.

These things usually start out as “I wouldn’t be surprised if he was gone by tomorrow”, which leads to someone else overhearing and telling their mates “He’ll be gone by tomorrow”, which in the Chinese Whisper trail becomes “I’ve heard he’s going tomorrow, Jonathan Jackson’s going to tell him”, to “Mackay’s been called in to Jackson’s office” and so on……

jackson has an office?? I would have thought he has a chair in a corridor. Chair gets used on match days though, so any interviews etc need to be done over a garlic bread (cheapest starter) in rigolettos. No drinks mind.
Yep, and a printer. So he can print off copies of clever emails and posts and run along to show them to his boss. No, hang on… only real morons would do that

I went on yesterday with a new enthusiasm. Things seemed better some how. After a sort of improved performance against Blackburn and players moving on, I had this feeling that we had removed all the higher earners who could have been a great unsettling factor in the dressing room and the players who we had left (the lesser earners) would be up now for a fight.
Seeing the team sheet boosted me again and I was right behind the team. I feel the same still today and now the dust as settled after the defeat I cant help feeling yesterday was another disappointing defeat but a different kind of defeat. We were desperately unlucky and were beaten by some diabolical refereeing decisions and a fluke of a goal. The three forced substitutions didn’t help us one bit either. Like I said we were so unlucky to lose yesterday at a time we could have done with a bit of luck. Why the hell Kvist has not been playing up till lately is just baffling, the lad looks a class act and just what we have been missing all season. Ipswich with the same line up please if injuries allow and let the team gel now.

    A fair assessment, Donny!

Have some pride and resign, it’s clear that the players don’t wanna play for you !

Hes already been sacked, why is nobody listening to me. My mate is in the sponsors lounge and it has been leaked in there. :woohoo:
Right, thanks for letting us know.
Good news if it’s true…Mackay OUT.

Where was Griff today? Slumming it in t’hospitality probably….
I certainly wasn’t in there making up or believing stupid rumours about the manager being sacked in the Sponsor’s lounge. I can just see it now:-

[Jonathan Jackson taps wine glass] “Now listen up, folks. I haven’t spoken to the Chairman yet because he’s still recovering from his knee op in Barbados – and I definitely haven’t spoken to Malky or his agent yet – so keep schtum for the minute if you would, but we’re probably going to sack him in the morning. Just try to keep off Facebook and Twitter and the forums until we have had chance to speak with him, eh? Just thought we’d let you knobheads know first, that’s all.

I would like to see him wide with someone else on the other side and a centre forward in the middle.

    ;)

Given that the club has been making (correct) noises about our squad numbers being too high, I think there will more going yet before any more come in. I’d be very surprised if we get more than 1 new arrival before the end of Jan.

in reply to: James McClean #138561

Very harsh. He’s a better player than he appears to being given credit for here.

in reply to: What is a Judas? #138463
A player who leaves for more money which face it most of us would if the chance came along. Or is a Judas just a player or manager who just leaves without any regard to the fans or club. Depends how fans look at things. Pascal Chimbonda for instance was he a Judas and if so was Jason Roberts?
    Let’s have a top 5 or ten biggest Judas’s.
    1 Roberto Martinez.
    2 Pascal Chimbonda.
    3 Steve Senior.
    4 Steve Johnstone.
    5 Jimmy Bullard.
Bobby who could blame him really but after saying how much he loved us just going and not having a go at promotion.
    Chimbonda, well his timing.
Senior, well just going to Knob End.
Johnston well for just leaving when he did.
    Anymore anyone?

None of them. It’s a job. Get over it.

    in reply to: Rumours? #138462
    I’d snatch their hands off

Oh, we will. All in good time!

Unless we actually want him to stay. :S

James was also a lucky lad for not getting sent off for his first half injury time foul on’t Rovers Mon.

Looked a shocker on tv. I didnt think he touched him at the time.
Looked a shocker at the time from where I was sat. Mind you, a lifetime of masturbation means my eyes aren’t what they used to be
wanker
Well done, you – 6 letters!! See if you can get a 7 next
tosser
Not a bad effort – for you – but I’m afraid that’s still only 6.

    Keep plugging away, son.
