you really think he comes on here, and hes not creaming the club take a look at the transfers ins and out that would be a start,

Do I think who comes on here, Whelan? Of course he does. Who do you think Dave From Skem is? :)

If Whelan didn’t buy these players and pay their wages and run the club, where do you think the money comes from.

Of course he’s running it as a business, but that’s as much for our good as his. Hopefully, he dies with the club owing his surviving family no money and we still have a viable football club. That’s the aim, I think. And in the meantime, we’ve had a good few years punching above our weight in the top flight.

Again I say – Leeds anyone?

I had my doubts when soaking wet through and three-nil down after half an hour, but it’s a long-term plan I suppose.

If we don’t spend some money on some creativity from the wing before next Monday then I’ll be nowt.

Isn’t that what we have Koumas and N’zogbia for?

I never said it was but their is a chance to ask him instead of spouting whale on here

Do you really think he would answer the question, when he as all his people to meet
Depends how you ask him. If you come across all Liam Gallagher – as I suspect you would – of course he won’t.

Try having a reasoned debate with him. I bet you’ll lose. Not because he’s right but because the first tim you don’t agree with him you’ll call him a c*** and you’ll look like a chump.

And he’ll probably refuse to sign your book

How long do you give him, and if the players are not behind him he may as well go now because he brought half of them.

I’d suggest more than 4 games

That’s right . We are the only casualty at the the first hurdle in the Carling cup out of the top flight !

Yep, and as the late, great Bill Hicks said:

“I’ll give you these four words. Yeah… and… so… what?”
Sums you up that quote, so what, climb out of whelans arse,
Grow up. I’ve aleady said it’s a shocking result, brought on by the player’s attitudes tonight. But at the end of the day if we get a point or 3 at Everton, who gives a flyer.

If you and your ilk are right – which you’re not – that Whelan is simply creaming money out of the club then I bet he’s having a right good laugh at you tonight.

What an inept performance.
Only players to come out of that with any credit are Sinclair, Diame, and the two late subs Thomas and Rodalegga.

Interesting Horc, what was the new centre-back like then, not too good?

Now this has to be one of the most ridiculous posts ever. You think if Whelan wants to go he’s waiting for a bunch of pre-pubescant to call for his head, probably out of tune and with gramatically incorrect banners?

Sorry for replying to my own post but it reminds me of when one of the affiliate V100 members made a banner bearing the message “WHELAN IS GOD”. Unfortunately, he got a bit impatient at the end and it finished up reading “WHELAN IS GOO”.

Cheered me up on a thoroughly miserable night, if nowt else.

Martinez will succeed if the players and the so called fans give him a chance.
It seems like some fans on here cant wait for him to fail then they can say I told you so.
Give him a chance.

You’ll never last on here with sensible quotes like that, mate ;)

in reply to: Bobby’s To Do List….. #6795
The list just got a hell of a lot longer after tonight!

Did anyone go the game? I cant wait to hear Bobby’s thoughts. Hope he’s got an apology for all the fans who trekked up there. Complete disgrace.

Why should you care, he won’t be apologising to you will he, as you clearly didn’t go :D

Whelan to make way for whom exactly?????

I hear Bill Kenyon is doing alright these days. Or maybe there’s a rich shake looking to buy the sleeping giant that is WAFC?

KEEP THE FAITH. REMEMBER CANVEY ISLAND?

Even they only score 1 :(

“mr whelan is not shy when he spouts his ego ridden opinions in as many media forums as seems humanly possible, ”

Constructive criticism???? Give yourself a shake, lad.

“players that were ok last term suddenly just gone rubbish ?”

No, probably not. But they clearly think that a wet night in Blackpool (I presume it was raining) is beneath them, despite them still picking up the same wages.
