The Manchester City version after last seasons cup final was funny, this one is not the slightest bit funny, the Wigan Casino subject just doesn’t work.
Can’t see any link, so I persume it’s a YouTube clip which I’m not allowed to see at work. A hitler parody, maybe?
Anyway, my main point is – when ddid a miserbale get like you become an expert on all things comedic?
In my humble opinion those two highlight everything thats wrong with english football.
Both been given too much too soon whilst achieving nothing.
Powell in particular thinks hes better than he actually is.
Give me a much maligned gary caldwells passion and commitment over the so called strutting show pony any day.Too right , too much too soon. I remember Stephen Ireland’s comments after leaving City. He said there were teenage lads turning up for training with £10,000 Rolex watches on even though they’d never played or trained with the first team.
If your paid daft money early were is the incentive ??
There’s a 16 year-old kid played in the FA Youth Cup final who is on £20k per week.
I don’t think he has ever seen a first team game let alone played in one ;)
Quote …He said: “My period at Wigan wasn’t just four years as a manager. It’s been ten years, one way or another. Ten years with a football club is a big part of your career and your life. I just felt that it was the right time, after four very special years, to move on”.
Is it 4 or 10 ? Bob can’t quite decide going off that ! ha ha :cheer:
I know exactly what he was saying. How’s your Spanish?
Not too good but I am pretty confident that if I had been living there for the last 20 years I would be pretty fluent! ;)
You evidently can’t even read your own native language, so I wouldn’t hold out too much hope
Good point Griff, Like Neil Rimmers impartial views though !!What happened to the previous commentatator?
He’s gone to work for Liverpool.
If you can’t God then Wish FM will doIt’s on 5 Live Extra, too. Saves listening to that annoying Oirish eejit on Wish FM.

It’s been very entertainig watching Barnsley be regularly more correct, and always more measured, than you sad bitter Bobsessives.
Looks like Top Four Bob has failed again though, after last night’s Arsenal result. The Everton fans seem happy enough with his first season though, which is I suppose is all that really matters.
Other folk tell me it’s a blinding night out round the bars on the canals.Broad Street. It is a good night.
Bumped into the Coventry team on their Christmas do one year. Was talking with Markus Hedland (sp?), Craig Bellamy, David Thompson and the big centre-back who went on to play for Derby. had a great night with them, especially Hall and Bellamy who was great, a really nice bloke even though he was only young at the time.
Thompson, who was on loan from Liverpool at the time, let himself down by appearing to snort coke in the bogs in a Wetherspoons. Sort of explained why Liverpool let him go.
Birmingham City average attendance 15,231Wigan Athletic average attendance 15,176
Not a great difference.
Is that right? Not really a big club at all then, are they?
And the daftest accent since Cornwall.
How the hell does Ali get picked ahead of Scott Carson, he is a liability, every time he gets the ball he shits me up with his dithering about and his inability to kick the ball properly.
After his performance at Wembley why didn’t Crainey start a head of that useless Chilean at left back, and why did we waste the talents of Shaun Maloney on the left wing.
Careful Horc, you’ll have some self righteous no-mark narcissist type asking about what you know of the game, have you been to the training etc etc.
Personally, I would agree with you
Obsessed. Bless!
What a shame, I thought you’d actually done us all a favour and fucked off for good. It’s been quite pleasant round here lately.
Agree with all of that Vince, to be fair.
Yeovil and Bournemouth for me, too.
You should have been here a few months ago. It was like a kindergarten for illiterate delinquents.
Same as anywhere else; there are some worth dealing with and lots not worth the time of day.
To be fair, the real gobshites seem to have disappeared.
It will still look like an upside down wheelbarrow whatever they call it
It’s a better stadium than ours
By a country mile
Can’t see what the big deal is. So they’ve changed sponsors, so what? It happens all the time.
There isn’t one. Just an attempt to make conversation. Working well I see.
Maybe here. Facebook’s full of people having a tug over it!
