Who are our scouts? We haven’t had a regular goal scoring striker since Hugo Rodallega. However even he wasn’t particularly prolific but still found the net on a more regular basis than our present lot. Troy Deeney (Walsall) Danny Ings and Charlie Austin (non league clubs) There’s a couple of young lads in the Development and under-18 squads scoring goals for fun.Surely in giving them a run we would have nowt to lose given our present perilous position.
Robles scored 12 in the reserves/development squad/whatever their name is these days/ so far this season. What is the problem in giving him a go?
That’s what’s worrying me – Norwich’s bad run. Brighton hadn’t won for 12 games – Sheff Wed hadn’t won for 8 and hadn’t scored a goal for around 400 mins of football but made no difference. Seems like it’s Christmas every week for opposing teams/players when they’re up against us.
Just go to BBC Sport website and read the full transcript of Whelan’s interview with journalist David Ornstein. Lazy journalism in it’s purest form. Why let the truth get in the way of a good story! in future Dave should be employing a Fergie like silence towards the media.
Any footballer who is paid thousands of pounds should never miss the target from a penalty. If the keeper makes a save then that I can partly understand but to balloon the ball over/wide is completely unacceptable – from 12 yards and no other defenders to cope with – come on!!!! I would have had him practising until midnight!
Absolute shambles tonite. Scored after 9 mins and from then on invited to QPR to come at us. OK if you’ve got strikers who can get them on the break which we haven’t. Derby will muller QPR at Wembley. BTW Derby’s team consists of players “who” “who’s he?” “where did he come from?””didn’t he used to play for Matlock? I’m a big fan of the boys in blue but its about time we found out the same sources as Burnley, Derby and Leicester
Doncaster,Millwall Blackpool…..Total points amassed from these six games……one. On that basis alone we don’t deserve to be in the play-offs. Then of course there’s the matter of Birmingham Tuesday neet… never won there before….15 consecutive home matches without a win…nailed on for a home victory!!!
The man was an absolute legend and a gentleman. (Wayne who?) he used to be my dad’s hero in the 50’s when he went to watch PNE with one of my uncles. Wouldn’t like to think what he made of today’s “stars” RIP Sir Tom…among the greatest!!!!
I know who they haven’t played (after last neet) Dagenham & Redbridge, Stevenage, Crawley Town-
Would love to prove them wrong if that’s true however, Had the pleasure of visiting Cardiff for the Great Welsh Beer Festival last June. Absolutely brilliant pubs, beer, people and city. Not sure where the footy stadium is though. We stayed in the Premier Inn not too far from the Millennium Stadium. Well worth a visit
Six-foot-one version of Mauro Boselli
don’t forget the Bournemouth game…another “Wiganathleticnil” not an away goal scored since the first at Barnsley. Nothing better than an average mid-table side.
Yes we may be outnumbered but having said that we have 200 miles to travel whereas Manure fans have only the M25/M4/Kent/Southend/etc,etc,etc to contend with.BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
Get some of the real ale mate – Budvar is the genuine stuff unlike that American horsewee!
Can’t hope to compete in Formula 1 with a London taxi driver
