So they want THEIR stadium back do they? If I remember they had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the JJB as it was then as Dave Whelan gave them the option of staying where they were and probably going bust. Also how many matches last season were on Thursday due to Uncle Rupert calling the shots. Never heard any thing then.

Despite all the talking up from the press and the boardroom this team is not as good as the comments suggest.Average performances against Shrewsbury, Swindon Doncaster, Oldham and of course that shambles today against the bottom club Barnsley. As soon as a team gets in their faces they run scared. As far as the penalties are concerned if any player missed the target they should be practising penalties until midnight. Absolutely disgraceful! League-wise the top 4 teams in the table we have managed to take ONE point. Just simply not good enough.

Yes remember that one! Outplayed Shrewsbury for 80 mins at their place. they scored the winner in injury time with referee Derek Civil(Birmingham) adding on 6 mins stoppage time. In the replay a brutal tackle ended full back legend Billy sutherland’s career with another couple of legends Tommy gore and the late great Albert Jackson scoring the winner. this aggravated Civil and went on to add another 7 mins. referees haven’t change much have they?

Did any of this team watch the Salford City/Notts Co last night. A tean of plumbers electricians etc showed fight, guts, determination and not a little skill against a team 59 places above them (2nd goal would have been raved about if a Greedleague player had scored it!). Same old, same old – concede a throw in and we’re beaten Cowards!!!!

The English national anthem is a one person dirge. Should be “Land Of Hope And Glory” or any other tune that isn’t a royalist boot-licking charade. Eg France “Marsellaise” Germany “Deustchland Uber Alles” Australia “Advance Australia Fair” and the best National Anthem in the world Holland’s “Het Wilhelmus”.

RIP Brian…a player who gave his all for Liverpool. People like Balotelli and Sterling have much to learn.

Once again Wigan Athletic acting with the foresight of Bacup Borough. A loyal player like Boycie would lend his experience to the youth side in more than one way. He may not be as quick as he was in the old pins but still has the grey matter when it’s needed. But as has happened before with other players he gets treated like a cheap Nokia mobile – pay as you go! And another factor is that he is due a testimonial next year so in my opinion this is all engineered hoping that he will leave. A the same time it is revealed that we are chasing a striker who couldn’t even keep his club in League Two – but it’s the old Latics mantra – if it’s cheap enough, it’s good enough!

They could deduct every point Rotherham will gain from now until the end of the season we still wouldn’t catch them. CAN’T SCORE GOALS/WIN AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!End of.

Sat – Brighton – Home. Next Sat – Wolves – Home. Last game – Brentford – Away. Now then given our appalling home record this season and the fact that Brentford will be up for it how many points do you think that little lot will yield?. More chance of a Fortune hat-trick and me winning the lottery on the same weekend!

On average over the last 20-odd years you need 42 points to keep clear of the drop zone. at present we don’t look like getting 30!!!!

Last home game of 2005/6 we played Portsmouth whose fans had a banner saying “minus 10-its cold in Southampton!” Contrasting positions of those clubs now eh? According to the Jonathan Jackson propaganda machine we are again in profit. Well why don’t we look a little further into the future then we may be the wealthiest club in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier!!!!

Zak Clough – 18 yrs old – never been in the first team before – Wigan Ath opposing side – gets the winner! Nowt new there then? Any on Brum City who hasn’t scored for 10 years, pensionable age, one leg, blind? If this is the case then my advice to Birmingham is get him on cos if he or anyone else from Brum scores they will get the three points!!!
