DiSanto why would you play him????? When were struggling for goals you want players who have a goal in them.
He makes Scotland look prolific, absolute cack.
you mean like rodelaga who at city with best part of 100 million quids worth of defenders keeps going for glory when he could have laid the ball off at least 3 times to mccarthy who was unmarked. My point is di santo is much more physical presence who can hold the ball for sammon where has rodelaga gets pushed off the ball to easy and if he hasnt had no joy after 20 mins he dosent want to know
IMO Hugo would play off Sammon as he looks to be a big strong lad who can hold the ball up and looks tall enough to win some headers.
Wether you like Hugo or not he is our best chance of a goal so for me he has to play.
Oh and by the way DiSanto is absolute cack so it’s a no brainer.

when did united dirk kuyt last score a hatrick?
keep the faith, we have improved recently bout time we got a bit of luck eh?
tottenham will be focused on the champs league and i think we will hammer brum.
come on lads, keep the faithSorry Lego but it ain’t bad luck that we are at the bottom of the league. We are there because under Bob we are currently the worst team in the league, simple :o :o :o

If we can manage to beat Blackpool and Birmingham.picking points up against spurs, everton stoke, sunderland and villa.
also beating west ham
then i feel we could still finish above wolves, west ham and blackpool :scared-eek:
Why after two seasons are we going to put together a run of results???? We can’t even win back to back games.
So your telling me we didn’t deserve AT LEAST a point from man city?
even the most bias martinez hater surely couldn’t come out with thaT!We played well I thought but with Bob’s formation I fail to see how we will score enough goals to stay up. If we start with one up front against Birmingham at home in a must win game then he doesn’t deserve any support.
Legolad Bruce was a great manager for us and only left cause Whelan sold his team from under him when we should have qualified for Europe. Bob on the other hand has been Gash but if by some miracle he does turn things round don’t for one minute think he will show loyalty.
Ask Swansea fans how loyal Bob is :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:
though actually, id say 2 of bruce’s leftovers are looking like taking us down. hot rod and fig have been awful week in week outHugo is one half of all our attacking options Charlie being the other. Perhaps if Bob plays Sammon up front with Hugo we may see the player that Bruce signed.
  :pray:exactly griff, did bruces flops not need paying aswell? i suppose wages only matter when your on about bobby
:doh:The difference is Lego Bruce was a good manager and his flops never looked like getting us relegated.
:shhh: :shhh: :shhh:how does a FREE transfer cost money?Let me spell it out for you, when we signed Arry DeZueew from Barnsley because he was a free transfer instead of paying Barnsley say £3m we pay DeZueew £1.5m signing on fee plus his wages. This meant we could pay him a hell of a lot more than Barnsley so he signed. It would be the same with Titus who was on £40K a week no transfer fee so the player gets better wages. That is why players are so eager to run down there contracts it’s a license to print money for them.
So Lego as you can see there is no such thing as free in football.
It was also very interesting to see that they started to cause more problems for the City defence when he brought Sammon on & played 4-4-2. Whether Colonel Roberto Gadaffi took that on board remains to be seen
Took it on board? Surely it was his idea :? ;)
I think there’s a difference between playijg 442 for the last 8 minutes of a game we awere arguablty already on top of and playing that way from the start. I’m not sure our midfield is strong enough to keep out teams for 90 minutes with just 4 in there.
But, as I’ve said many times before, I’d like to see us give it a go, just to see.
:text-goodpost: Me too Griff with the position were in what have we got to lose.
Legolad as I stated in my original post not all the fee’s were accurate as most of our signings are undisclosed. But if you think that loan signings and free transfers don’t cost money then you should stick to Lego.
Granqvist was given his chance under Hutchings & like most of the other players looked okay to start with but gradually got worse & worse & more than played his part in that long run the team went on of straight defeatsWhat signed his death warrant at Latics was a truly shocking performance away at Bolton when we got stuffed 4-1 in Bruce’s 2nd game in charge. Bruce made several important decisions after that game – one of which was that Paul Scharner was not a premier league quality midfielder & needed to play centre half & another was that Granqvist was too slow.
Admittedly that was the best part of 3 years ago & he could have improved markedly since then but he was pretty cr@p back then
Does that not sound familiar??? Gary Caldwell had a shocker at Bolton in a 4-0 loss and instead of being dropped Bob makes him club captain.
And we wonder why we are in the shoite with Bob in charge

I was going to post the same myself.
Of course you were, because you’ve posted the same thing every week since August. ;)
Whats up Griff does the truth hurt?
I dont know if some of these comments are on the wind up or some are so thick that they cant see the financial side of things
PSki
In your view you want the club to go the way of Pompey I assume spend a fortune on limited resources
Vat
Agree with your point of view regarding finances but I expect the club to put up a fight and stay in this league and if we go down then that address the balance on wages that we can afford
Hindley Blue
Just a wind up merchaent
Mighty aft
:teasing-knob:must be me, but in all my posts when have i ever said we have to spend a fortune, as a club of our side we need to get in the other clubs faces and to do this you dont need to have the most gifted of players nor the more expensive of players, like we used to have and like blackpool now, but bob is trying to make us play like arsenal which we cant do with the the players we can afford, that is why he is the wrong man for our club and the style we need to have to survive,
