The lad is an integral part of his national team.
He’s played at the top level of French football for the most of his career.
He’s been a week in, week out starter for 2 of France’s biggest teams in PSG and Marseille and played a big part in PSG’s 2004 season when they finished 2nd.
Note that this was his first season playing with PSG and the fact he was never out of a team who finished 2nd says something..
We’d be getting a player of high quality for FREE.

I went with Melchiot because of his professionalism opposed to Chimbondas lack of professionalism.

The Police were pushing for a banning order, but the magistrate stated that had it been at a cricket or Rugby match he wouldn’t get banned, so as he was not a danger to anyone there was no need to ban him.He was quite lively when he came on in the last game of last season.
