Well said Griff. Raffael was entirely to blame for Utd’s exit and was having a good game up to then. Also think a senior player like Carrick who performed poorly allowing the first goal and missing a sitter should also take some blame.
United were a 2 trick pony and are now down to one trick.
TBH I think we have more important things to worry about than Utd’s Euro exit.
I’m not entirely sure of the current legal position but heard ownership was being transferred to Latics from Whelco and the rugby club would be tenants. I’m all for debate and freedom of speech but I really wish the worms at the RL forum would give us a right of reply, but there appears to be no sign. I’m not even suggesting rude and obnoxious postings should be allowed but at least some reply on their forum.
I don’t even hate the sport just Wigan RL, I always wish Saints and the GB team well, I just wish they’d curl up and die. Maybe Rugby Union would fill the void if there’s a demand for another truly national sport.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. RM is the ‘Ken Barlow’ of management, we’ll probably play a 4-6-0 for the next 5 games. I started to lose faith when he and many of his players displayed a complete lack of respect for the FA cup by allowing Notts Co to outhink and outplay us in two matches. I’m sick of us passing backwards and sideways and slowing the tempo down to a crawl although we do have some pace in the team.
We’d be better off with some of the kids in who he’s sent to Sweden’s 3rd division.

Why don’t we just keep it simple? and play N’zogbia on the left, Moses on the right with McCarthy and Diame or Thomas in the middle. Oh and play 2 strikers and give the opposition something to think about.

But that said…………….I still say ONETOWN…………………….Prices are reasonable too. £25 and £10 looking forward to going for my first visit to Eastlands. If we get a point I’ll be made up.

I take your point but apart from the points every other club team is insignificant to me anyway. Only the England team matters a solitary jot I don’t care about Utd, Liverpool etc nor do I care about the CL. Whereas you do care about Man Utd don’t you?
Oh I also support Standish Juniors Athletic as well for family reasons.
