We do the business and QPR win and Bolton win !! Wolves are gone I think ! Hope we can get something from the next 3 !
It was only 2 matches ago that Blackburn thought Wigan, Bolton, Wolves and QPR had gone. B)
Trust you to find an ounce of negativity in what has been a great day if your a Wigan Athletic fan. :P[/quote]
Wigan,Bolton and QPR all winning isn’t a great day for us or any of them for that matter. It’s a terrible day for Wolves and a very bad one for Blackburn.
I think we have to get at least a point from the very difficult next 3 matches. If not we’ll probably have to win all the last 4.
We are still one of the favourites to finish in the bottom 3 after todays results for me.If it had truly been a great day and Bolton and QPR had both lost we’d now be out of the bottom 3.
Here we have another comp for a pair of Stoke v Latics tickets in the home end.
Answer is Paul JewellJust a thought but why on earth would anyone do that?People sometimes buy a ticket for an event and then can’t go due to illness or an unexpected work committment.
Brum losing today was a huge shock to me.
On paper Birmingham and Blackpool should both lose at Tottenham and Man Utd.I think a draw will be enough for us.
but……it’s easier beating West Ham at home than drawing at Stoke
Apparantly Karen Brady asked Uncle Dave for a room to sack Grant in after the match.
That’s no way to treat a decent football man like GrantCalm
I think today will be a comfortable win and the nerves will come at Stoke.
We’ll beat West Ham I’m very confident about that.
But today’s results mean we’ll have to win at Stoke.
A very big ask and I can’t see us doing it.Heres a tip for next time. Stop moaning. Take control and ensure your at the ticket office. Thats what the majority who got tickets did. If you couldnt be arsed or work was more important thats your call. That isn’t the real problem though.
The problem is that the club haven’t asked for enough tickets.More than 1,400 fans want to watch a huge match for the club.Stop panicking FFS! 4 points is pretty much guaranteed to keep us in the Prem. You need to look at the table again.
If Blackburn draw with Man Utd and Wolves beat Blackburn we’ll go down with 40 points assuming Birmingham get one more point.
It would be goal difference but ours is the worst.Hasn’t Man City’s new found wealth made it a 5 team league? (with Man Utd,Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool)
Although some on here might say it’s a 6 team league because there was wild celebration by some when Roberto managed to draw 0-0 at home to Tottenham.
Lets hope that if we do stay up ALL the darkside fans on here hold their hand up and say a bigWell done Bobby!!
That would depend on what your ambition for the club is.All Martinez will have done this season is not get relegated, that isn’t as good as the comfortable mid table positions we had for a season under Jewell and Bruce.
Stoke away is a very difficult last match. We need to be safe by then and imo we will be.
For me, Wolves and Blackpool are doomed. For us to go down I think West Ham will have to get 7 points from their last 3 games. As one of those games is at the DW we can stop them.
We are bottom of the league but I think Blackpool will be expecting easier games against Bolton and Stoke.Bolton’s best player is out for the season and they will have nothing to play for and Stoke will be trying to avoid injuries for the cup final assuming they beat Bolton.
At first glance I thought you’d bought a minge hood lol
Yesterday was a must win and we got the 3 points, so yeah I still think survival is on.
I think it’s between us, Wolves, WBA and Blackpool. The WBA manager situation is interesting, i hope they don’t have the cash/ambition to get Hodgson,O’Neill or Allardyce.
Even if they do, I reckon we have better players. -
