Is this thread not now bordering on offensive? :P
1999 and 2004??? Why is this coming to light now. He mayaswell have carried on having fun with them for the other 5 years if he’s gunna get arrested at that age. :D
Hit a nerve or summert?………..Did you used to support Man Yoo/Citeh/Liverpool/Everton?
Is that your only response to anything? I would say the majority of supporters did NOT support anyone else. Think statistics would probably show that I am right, so you cannot just say it to everybody that doesn’t agree with everything you say.
*Awaits truelatic asking me which ‘Big’ club I used to support.
Would like to think we can offer him first team football ahead of the other clubs who are after him.
We can do this with most players we go for but they still turn us down
Pedantic but true. :D
The whole column says it all!. Maybe we could take him back and just say ‘If you do anything at all that is unacceptable, your wages will be cut and you will sit in the reserves’… Would rather have the off form Zaki than Scotland. That shows how badly we have gone downhill striker-wise, as I disliked the on-form Zaki.
ES3 needs some life, ES2 are AMAZING, who’s the drummer ?!?!?Drummer sits/sat right in front of me. Dont know whether its a good thing or bad thing. Least it puts some atmosphere into the ground and, No doubt, The most singing comes from us lads in ES2, Either us OR the away fans :D
Dont be so cheeky Griff, I am Ken McKenzie. My name aint even James, Its Ken!.
Can I have that minute of my life back please?
It could very well be a bargaining tactic, but it could also be the fact that Martinez genuinely doesn’t want to spend £4m immediately.Money from the players moving on won’t be received immediately, and if he’s successful in getting the Spanish left back, then that is potentially £8m gone in one fell swoop.
Problem is £4m is nothing these days in terms of football, you’re not even gunna get a half-decent player for less than that. So if he doesn’t wanna splash it out immediately I would be worried. Unless its just that he dont wanna splash it out unless he is sure about the player. Which in that case would mean he’d have to go for a proven prem player, which you wouldn’t get for £4m, so what can he do?. We have to gamble, cheap foreigner, hope he adapts and becomes good.
It isnt the cost that kept me away and im absolutely sure the club would have dropped the price if it could have done .it is the lack of interest shown in this once great knockout competion by the top clubs in the PL.It has been going on for years especially since the big money came into the game at the top end and im sick and tired of it.
The FA cup has been totally devalued and i noticed an article in the press with a picture of the Latics game highlighting this point so the stayaways obviously touched a nerve.
This was once a great knockout and has been won many times by underdogs (West Ham 1980(div 2) Southampton 1976(div 2) Sunderland 1973(div 2) )but it is now dominated by the big(yawnnnnnnnn) four.
I like many Wiganers thought b@llocks to it and before anyone calls me a JCL my first game was in the 1978-79 season. The FA cup has had its day and TV and money are killing it off -VERY VERY SAD.That doesn’t quite make sense, if it is being dominated by the ‘big 4′ (even though utd are out’ , Doesnt that mean that the big 4 are taking it more seriously, and not that other people arent?.
Oh in in regards to the post before mine by ‘Griff’… I am slowly but surely becoming a big fan of yours and have to laugh at the truth in the forementioned post. ;)Agree with both posts, when Bob has had enough Transfer windows and made the transfers he wants he IS the man who will take us forward, and saying players need to move on, surely Scotland should be one of them, but he wont be.
If Wigan sell N’zogbia then I for one will be one very very unpleased fan, and to be fair would fancy forming an Fc of Wigan.! :)who can ever forget them chav muppets in es2 singing to bolton 3 seasons back…..WERE GOING TO WIN YOU AGAIN ……WERE GOING TO WIN YOU AGAIN…………it was embarrassing listening to them.thick as pig s.it most of them!.
Look at your Grammer and punctuation. Your’e thick as pig whale, arsehole. all you do is constantly insult people by calling them chavs when you don’t even know if they’re chavs or not.
Love it! Pot, kettle, black etc.
Please eloborate how that is a ‘Pot, Kettle, Black’ situation please, as i fail to see it whatsoever, and i do not call people chavs.
Genuinely clicked on the thread expecting (hoping) you meant the other thing ;)
Kapo likely to leave on thursday aswell. I think Martinez is doing a good job clearing some of the high paid flops we have at the club. Hope to see the back of De Ridder, Kingston and Koumas(although i think he could have been a good player for us, he just hasn’t justified the money paid for him).
Jamie O’Hara would be a good signing, but where do we play him? Im not sure he is an out and out winger, but i like Diame and Thomas in the centre of midfield, would he play in Scharners position then?O’Hara is quality, would have him here anyday. Don’t think we should get rid of Koumas just yet. He showed he can play well in first game or two of this season… But to be fair after the 1st game I thought this might have been the season where he shined, apparently not. Shut up tini
we should at least bid, we give up before even bid. chopra would score more goals than scotland . ??? :DSo true as even Boyce, a Championship centre-back at best, playing the other end of the pitch most of the time, has scored more than him :D
