Nailed on League 1 Champions for me filmoss…
First half performance today was some of the best footy ive seen this season.
Shrewsbury have Plymouth next then Rotherham at home. They’ll drop points there for sure. Reckon we’ll win our next two and be four points clear when we play City.
Well our owner who I have a huge amount of gratitude for as done it again. Not only could he have cashed in his chips before chucking in the towel but he has shown his great intensions towards the club by strengthening the squad over this window and supporting Paul Cook.
Could there be any doubts now that when the inevitable change does arrive that DW will be leaving us in safe and competent hands.
Many thanks again Dave Whelan.
Public please get down to the DW on Saturday I think the day is coming when we no longer have the big man and he deserves the support of everyone.Im definitely a lover of Whelan rather than a hater. But I’d guess this transfer window may have had something to do with the sale of the club?
Holding on to assets to make the balance sheet look good? Or maybe the new investors being very serious about taking us forward?Only time will tell donny but suspect the Wigan folk won’t turn up in their droves tomorrow.
Facebook is generally for the very needy or nosy folk..
You know, would love for this to be an issue in the home end…
My Cocker Spaniel Stan met a Labrador Retriever down Yarrow Valley Park who’s master is the brother of the cousin of Nick Powell’s housemaids sisters cook who told her cousins mum that Ivan Toney was on his way back!
Not sure if there was much in the rumour though.Top ten tenuous anyone..
Gillingham don’t seem to be a 10 men behind the ball team filmos so hoping for a more entertaining game..
Should be a cracking atmosphere, Gillingham have been allocated 344 tickets….
He’s definitely sorted himself out and he’s playing well which is why sentiments towards him have changed. On current form made up he’s staying and fair play to him for turning down a big bucks move to stay with us.
I’ve dug this one out because Jack has just been sold to Celtic for circa 1.5m.. Was gutted when we sold him as he wasn’t given a chance at Wigan.
Now I know the standard in Scottish football isn’t that great but Celtic have paid a lot of money for him so must see something. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s moved on again in a couple of years for even more money?
It will take a few off the gate I suspect. Personally I’m glad it’s Monday as means I can go now.
Gillingham have only lost twice in the league since they drew with us in October. Wasn’t it Lovells first game?
He’s turned them around and they’ve had a great January so I’m expecting a close game on Saturday, hope the players are switched on.Not too worried about Powell taking over Southend as he’s not really proven himself previously (I’ve said it now haven’t I…)
And we all know what happens when we draw city in the cup
It might be worth a punt on Grigg being the highest scorer in this years competition?
It was only last season Nick Powell was getting booked by our own fans. Now if Nick left us for anything less than ten million it would be a scandal. Head and shoulders yesterday in ability and class than any Hammers valued far more than that. Can’t say I’ve heard anybody say Grigg is a bad player donny. But as yesterday proved give him some decent service and he will score. His movement off the ball in an attacking move is good.
Can’t wait myself 78. Anybody above us in league at home, same league or below then away as they will probably sit deep.
I definitely thought there were more there than they give out. Good atmosphere yesterday and hoping we get another home draw tomorrow.
