      Another midfielder… sounds familiar.

Didn’t rate him on his first spell, and he hasn’t stood out since he left us. Hope he’s not a duff. Prone to being booked if I remember right?

Wasnt it done cos we had a history of fighting?

And UTD fans don’t.. They’ve got some of the worst in the country but it doesn’t get reported.

The club under estimate the loyalty of their fans once again which for me is a joke. Even non league clubs would ask for and take over 5000 to United. We do it everytime, scrambling for tickets, can’t cope.
We should have asked for a minimum of 5000 then 1 per season ticket holder. Online you had to allocate a client code for each ticket but on the phone you didn’t need.

Once again Latics have no faith in their fans travelling in numbers just like they shit their pants at Wembley thinking we wouldn’t turn up

It’s difficult to criticize the club after what they’ve just done for us. But I agree with you, Initial allocation of 1900 was a very small amount of tickets for this match?

Ticket office had to publicly remind people this morning that you couldn’t buy tickets for people without a purchase history….. Tells you a few Wigan mancs were trying to buy tickets for this match!!

They say money goes to money.

After Bolton bottling it against Palace it means Latics game against United is now on TV. Apparently this is United’s 56 consecutive game in the competition that has been televised.

            That is some run….

            Let’s hope they don’t make it 57..

The club should do something about tickets online as the system struggles every time there is high demand.
Didn’t risk the phone or website and went down and bought no trouble. They opened at 8.30am as well which was a bonus.

Wasn’t really that far off Jammy as tickets are £46… Only for the courtesy of our club that we’re paying £25. We wouldn’t sell 1,900 at £46.

I was only joking Jimmy Pal. I expect a good turnout now however![/quote]

No worries JammyC (how close is yours to mine)..
Think them 1900 will go within a few hours

What happened to the replies that alluded to the fact that our club couldn’t do cheap tickets as it wouldn’t be financially viable? I didn’t dream it! Bloody moderators eh !

Theg on’t face job if you ask me! :)

Don’t think you did, do we have a post thief  ….

But have we ever beaten Burton… they are a bogey team for us.
We play like we did against Forrest and we should get the win.

Oh it definitely feels better donny and i think Joyce will have us comfortably clear of relegation come end of season. He’s very methodical and is filling the gaps where needed. Not like Caldwell who was like a kid in a sweep shop buying everything he could…?

They are a money making machine without a care for anybody else, a typical American style.
But that said, they are making us a lot of money :woohoo: . So if their fans are stupid enough to put up with that system, stuff em. WAFC will do ok out of this even after subsidising the fans.

That’s a fantastic gesture from our club. Can see a mad scramble for these tickets at that price.

Mate of mine said he had his ticket (utd fan) so went on their website and the prices for our game are on their website already. Now £50 for a non member sounds a lot to me & I can’t see us getting them any cheaper?

I’ll be there, first time at OT never bothered previously due to stupid prices but probably be a while before we get the chance again.
Another one ticked off the list at least.
