Two home wins this week
Would be nice, especially a win against bolton :) Can’t have them doing the treble over us this season…. We’ve got to turn our home form around to make these away wins count for something.
Looks to be coming on loan from Liverpool. 18 year old striker who many are claiming that he’s the next Raheem Sterling.Never heard of him before, let’s hope he’s good and puts a few away starting Tuesday.
Well let us hope this one is better than young Bart who is not good enough. What about Billy Boy or Wags forming a partnership with Russell Grant up front.Where is Leon Clarke?Wrong team, wrong pitch and wrong situation for Ojo. He’s not a fighter, which is what we need and our pitch is really poor which doesn’t suit him. The lad has undoubted quality, just think he needs to be playing at a better standard to prove himself?
Maguire has been a great addition to the team. Him and Pearce are a good solid partnership and could be key in us staying up. If we do then he might want to stay..
We’ve got to get a home win this week or else we can forget it. Our general performance has improved of late so it’s only got to be a matter of time surely, hasn’t it?
If Heineken made conspiracy theories, they’d post them on Cockney Latic
Thought it was carlsberg.[/quote]
Come on Runcorn, you didn’t think before replying to this one did you? :)
Fortune is crap, brings nothing at all to the game in my opinion.
We were wasteful in front of goal today, this game more than any other this season irritated me because with a bit of quality we would have strolled this game.
We should have had a penalty though as it was defo handball, clutching at straws I know!!
Reckon we’ll beat Leeds even though they are on a good run. Then Beat Rotherham away and swap places with them in the league :pinch:
I don’t understand why so many people are saying that Everton are going to win the Europa League? There are some pretty decent sides left in and I can think of 6 off the top of my head who would more than likely do Everton should they meet! Can’t be arsed typing them but Zenit are the side I fancy to win it!Mmmm, there were a few said that at the 5th round proper draw in 2013…..
Gary Lineker; Not a great week for the Premier League. Thank heavens for Everton.A brief respite for embattled Bob.
Young Boys 1 Everton 4
Everton 3 Young Boys 1Have you still got the urge for travel?
Everton v Dynamo Kiev 12 March
Dynamo Kiev v Everton 19 MarchOne thing for sure, them Everton fans will travel in numbers.
I looked straight at the linesman for the first as to me it looked off side? The second for me wasn’t, when the ball came in from the right Waghorn was level if not behind the two centrals and it looked like the linesman put his flag up cos both centrals put their hands in the air….. Poor decision that cost us a point.
If that was in the prem there would av been replay after replay to prove either way.Fair to say I’m having to drag the kids along tonight.
Would be great if we got our first home win since August tonight :) Reckon the Cardiff fans will give Malkay a warm reception? What a surprise result that was :cheer:
Great opportunity to make it two wins in a row… Charlton are not good on the road and have only won two away all season. They have a poorer goal record than us, only scored one away goal this year, two since December.
It’s a nailed on away win then :silly:It has to be a matter of time before the oystens leave that club surely? Taking fans to court Shias to be the final nail so to speak..
According to the WEP today, Ray Mathias has the best win rate of the Managers appointed by Dave Whelan.Paul Jewell was about fifth, but of course he had that horrible first season and the last 18 months in the Prem weren’t great.
Always thought it was a bit rough on Mathias being sacked. If I remember correctly it was last games at Springfield wasn’t it?
