Couldn’t make the players numbers out, it will look even more of a mess with their names on.
It certainly would look miles better with white shorts with just a touch of blue and black trim. A large blue or white un-striped section on the back housing the numbers and names. :)From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Waaaaoooowwww!!!!!
How good did Frazer Fyfie look tonight. :cheer:
Ran the game from start to finish and some of his passing was breath taking. I don’t want to go too over the top in case it was a one off, but he had everything in his locker tonight.

Loads of positives coming out of that game, including the swaggering calmness of Andrew Taylor, the energetic and all action Tavernier, the link up play and crosses from Taylor-Sinclair when he came on, the coming of age of both Tim Chow and Ryan Jennings, the brief introduction of what Riera can do [how good was that run from his own box to theirs], the solid 20 mins or so of Thomas Rogne, the cameo performance of the “trialist”, all in all a great feast of football against a very good team indeed. They have finished 3rd in the last 2 seasons in the top flight in Turkey.

What a journey!I have my views other people have theirs, that’s what this football forum malarkey is all about.
However, nobody on this forum is in any position to conclude that most Everton fans are pro Martinez.
Yes Standish, I was supporting Bobby all the way when he was our manager, even when I thought his tactics were sort of “puzzling” shall we say.
I am now anti Martinez just like I’m anti Bruce and double anti-Coyle, sorry if I’m not allowed to change my opinions, didn’t realise that wasn’t allowed on here.
I’ll try to sit back and wait to see what happens, seeing that the 3 amigos have all got their knickers in a twist again.
Anyway, off to the game and concentrate on how Rosler is fairing. :cheer:

What a journey! It’s being reported in some quarters that we are attempting to get Powell on loan again. If we do lets hope its the Powell we saw early in his loan period last season and not the one towards the end of it.

What a journey!Oh yip I forgot about that, first a 4 year deal then a 5 year deal that’s 9 years. They’ll probably give him another 10 year deal and the plan will be that BK pops his clogs having seen no improvement in the club and he will go to the grave with no egg on his face, but still no champions league footy at the Goody.
Bobby jumped from Swansea when he realised he couldn’t get them promoted, he jumped from Wigan having got them relegated…… his CV is building up nicely here.
:lol:Give him a 25 year contract at Everton and he will not take them forward. Still BK has the satisfaction of Everton having their best premiership points tally, a round of applause everybody and well spotted Barnsley, the toffee supporters will be well chuffed.
Wake up man, contracts mean diddley squat these days.So offering him a new contract – on more money isn’t a reward for his performance last season?
Your bitterness is obviously clouding your judgement.
The Everton supporters and board are ‘well chuffed’ with him.
I’m sick of hearing people saying on here that Everton supporters are well chuffed, not the ones I work with. They started off loving his tactics and then saw a change that sounded like he had gone into that tippy tappy mode, with no real urgency to push on for a CL spot which for long periods, was in their grasp.
Possession means more than points to the blind fool, unless he realises there has to be plan A, plan B and a plan C, then he will continue to frustrate the supporters of his team, whoever it may be.I’d say that a true reflection on how the supporters feel is that the jury are still undecided. Lets say its been a “getting to know you” type of season with the next one being more of a “we want more” campaign.
Yes of course I’m bitter, very bitter indeed, to the same degree as you and a few others are up his harris to your ball sacks and elbows.

What a journey! One Cup Final win is no achievement when overshadowed by a top flight relegation and five failed attempts at Champions League football in a League were there are so many CL spots up for grabs.
Martinez led Everton to their highest-ever Premier League points total, their first double over Manchester United in 45 years and equalled a club-record winning streak of seven games all in his debut season.
Everton finished fifth in the Premier League with a club-record Premier League points tally of 72. They were so close to a place in the Champions League.
72 points would have been enough for Champions League football in eight out of the last 10 seasons. Everton amassed the most points by a team in the era of four English qualifiers to the Champions League not to win a place.
He broke every record in the book for us as well, beating Man u, first win at Anfield, first major Trophy, first time we have been relegated from the Prem.
Look at the comparisons all you want but you win more accolades and trophys by beating and bettering your opponents during the particular season.
My house is worth about £150K now and it was worth £16k when I bought it. It’s the same fekin house, so doesn’t mean it is 10 times better now than when I bought it.
You really do make me laugh with your idiotic comparisons.See if you can hear this if I shout it out. MARTINEZ DIDN’T GET THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPOT HE PROMISED BETTY TURPIN’S LAD.
Let’s see what he does this season without the services of the Chelsea striker. B)
He didn’t and they punished him with a new five year contract.
What a journey!Barry is pants, Kone is err OKish, Gibson is pants, Ovieda if he recaptures his prior broken leg form…is very good.
I see Bobby has given 33 year old, injury plagued Tony Hibbert a new 2 year deal, now that stinks of desperation, he would not get in our development squad.
Somehow, I can’t see that lot worrying Manuel, Jose, Arsen, Brendan or even Louis or the Spurs mon Mauricio.
My money is on Everton doing no better than they did last season, in fact I’ll stick my neck out and say they will not be in the top 7. :woohoo:

What a journey!3 white stripes down the back !By all accounts the club are revealing the kit bit by bit on the official site.
At the moment it has a photo of a blue and white stripe with the year 1932 in gold numbers across a white stripe. It also has a black collar so the photo you have posted is not the right one. B)

What a journey!Gary Caldwell IMHO was a great captain and defender. Yes he made the odd blooper, but also made some last ditch tackles for our cause.
His goal at Anfield will also live long in our memories.
He played for best part of a season with an injury niggle, trying desperately to get back to full fitness to help our play off surge.
If you feel the need to wet yourself laughing at the thought of Caldwell being offered a big money deal in Greece, then that’s up to you, but nobody can say that that Gary Caldwell didn’t give 110% every time he put on the blue and white shirt.
I for one wish him good luck [if indeed he does go]and thanks for providing us with great memories in our time in the English Premier League.

What a journey! If you go to any football or Rugby Union ground on match day in the southern half of England and ask if they have heard of Billy Boston, the answer in 99% of cases will be no. Ask the same people if they have heard of Dave Whelan and the answer will be more like 60%-75% yes.
I’ve nothing against Billy Boston, he may have been a great rugby player in his time, but unfortunately Rugby League had similar popularity to crown green bowling when BB was around and probably still has, so great in Rugby league = OK in crown green bowling.
There are far bigger stars to come from Wigan than BB, Mr Whelan certainly being one of them.
