I’m not interested whether it was a penalty or sending off, it was nice walking off the ground with a crowd of smiling faces, knowing all to well that we didn’t deserve jack shyte from that game.
All opinions on those decisions go out the window, I have checked the league table and we got 3 points last night, so lets move on with our chests out and focus on the tractor boys. :)

What a journey!Ask yourself, why has he not been playing for city? :woohoo:
If that Demichaels geezer can get a game, then Rodwell must be a pup.

What a journey!Apparently Wenger has been on to the FA moaning about wanting to move the semi-final to a neutral ground.

What a journey! It’s dead easy to understand Griff, when Martinez was our manager I could see what he was trying to do just like you Standish and a few others. The football at times was brilliant and at other times was abysmal. A manager who allows his players to take a short free kick when 30 yards away from goal and within 10 secs its with our goalie, has a lot to learn. This is just one example of the shortfalls of RM, IMHO he was and is not as good as I and you made him out to be. Everton fans are already saying he has no plan B, and that’s because he is so wrapped up in his playing methodology he is too short sighted to see the obvious at times. He is crying out for a decent assistant that has been there, done that and got the tee shirt.
Perhaps I’m just an old fashioned supporter who bums up his team, managers, players etc no matter what, but when anybody leaves they just want um to fail. It’s called being a loyal supporter and like it or not there are probably more fans wanting Martinez to fail than those wanting him to succeed. I’m just going off the gangs I hang around with, but I reckon that’s a fair indication, call it the exit poll of the football world.
There are 3 regular posters on here that jump in if anybody has a go at Bobby and / or Everton. That’s you, Standish and Barnsley, the rest either don’t give a shyte or openly bear a grudge against RM.That’s where I stand, so OK, if you want to read the posts and defend RM or call the posters who have a go at him, please do, its your prerogative being a latics fan and long standing member of this board.
That’s the whole point! ‘In your honest opinion’ he isn’t as good as you made him out to be!
So your defence of him for three years was just pom poms. You told everyone what a great manager he was, but you didn’t actually believe it yourself.
What about Rosler? Will he be a poor manager when he leaves in a couple of seasons?
And, I don’t jump in when others have a go at Martinez. It’s almost exclusively just you. The other posters didn’t use to defend him as vehemently as you did.Maybe I’m just an old fashioned supporter – who likes to see ex-players, who have developed at the club, doing well for themselves.
If he dumps us like Martinez did after getting us relegated, then yes I will be on his case. As for Rosler he has showed more in his time with us than Bobby did in all those years. He has a plan A, plan B, plan C and plan D. Bobby just had a plan A.
Oh and thanks for personally keeping tracks on my posts, it must indeed be a big honour for you, following such an illustrious board member. Do you want my Twitter account details?
I don’t think I take you seriously anymore, WTF are pom fekin poms? :P

There are several regular posters on here who respond to the small group of people prejudiced against Bobby whenever they launch yet another ridiculous attack on him or his new club.
My neighbour in the West Stand said to me, “If Roberto came back to the DW Stadium, I don’t think there’s a single fan who wouldn’t give him a good welcome.” He wasn’t absolutely right but I do think that he was right about the great majority of fans.
So just cause your neighbour agrees with you he is speaking for everyone.
I’ll boo him like fek before the game and clap him at the end. That’s what most fans did with Ellington on his return and he duly had a stinker.

In the immediate aftermath of one of our greatest ever victories, your first thought is to have a pop at an ex-manager who has already won the FA Cup?
What a very strange attitude to take. Not like you, to be fair. Had you had a drink? ;)
I agree griff, he did win us the FA cup & in fairness would have kept us up had he not had bad luck with injuries to key players at various stages last season. However, following relegation he jumped ship at the first chance & for that i cant forgive. Had we have stayed up & he turned round & said “ive taken this club as far as i can its now time for a new challenge” that would not have been a problem in my eyes & i would have wished him well. Likewise if he stayed this season but failed in his attempt to get us promoted, just saying for arguments sake, i would have wished him well. At least jewell did say he would have stayed an extra season had we have gone down that day against sheffield utd.
sorry but i cant forgive him for the way he left & that is why i am thrilled to bits that my team went further than his.
Well said Runcorn, however there are some posters on here that are finding it hard to understand yours, mine and many others opinions.
I don’t know why they don’t just avoid these threads, the post title must have given them a bit of a clue as to what was to follow. If they think they can change our minds, then they are a butty short of a picnic.
Oh, I get it… if somebody doesn’t agree with you, they should just stay away from the thread and let you have your say, unopposed? And I’m supposed to be the one who doesn’t let people have an opinion!
Anyway, it would be a difficult policy to adopt with you John because, as Standish says, you change your view with the wind. It would be really hard working out which threads we’re supposed to read and which we’re not.
What a journey!Sunderland dumped out the FA cup by a poor Hull team
Hull, newly promoted this season, are a good mid-table team. Bruce has made some astute additions to produce a team who play attractive attacking football.
They should be good enough to stay clear of the relegation dog-fight.
They went out of the League Cup 8-7 on penalties away to Spurs, but now look forward to an FA Cup semi final against Sheffield United. We shouldn’t underestimate them.
I agree if we do the impossible again and meet them in the cup final, we 100% should not underestimate them. As for their position in the table, they are not on the best of form and are just 5 points clear of relegation. There is always one team that free falls towards the end of the season in the prem. My money having watched them a few times on telly, is on Mr Steve Bruce’s Hull City. :woohoo:

What a journey!Forgot to add that the team we beat yesterday also tonked Sunderland in the poor mans FA cup final a few weeks ago.
How could I forget about you yesterday?, I was blinded by the egg on your face and that big size 12 in your gob. Have you got a photo to post of that?
I look forward to hearing from you again in the coming weeks when the lodgers have a few more points on the board. :P

What a journey!Out of all cups, down to their lowest position in the table this season, I hope he gets his Ipad out and shows you how he’s managed that Mr Kenwright!

What a journey! And, apparently, it was invented for other teams too.Last week at Fulham for instance; Fulham 1 Chelsea 3.
From METRO; For us, though, it seems to be a time in which we dramatically plan our own downfall. Encourage a ridiculously high line against a side littered with pace? Yes, sound good boss. Switch off and capitulate? Okay gaffer, sounds good.
Fekin hell man just admit Wigan under Martinez and today Everton under Martinez capitulated his teams do from time to time.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I honestly think you are either pig thick, or taking the pish. I didn’t mention the FA piggin cup, I just said Everton who Roberto Martinez is the current manger, capitulated against Arsenal today. I also said other teams under Martinez had also capitulated. He seems to be a past master of keeping his teams in games until the last quarter, then opening the shop for everyone to plunder.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Capitulate? Roberto Martinez?Under him, Wigan are the most unlikely Cup Winners!
Yes capitulate did you not watch the game?, Everton were actually in the game until the last 10 mins then they did indeed capitulate.
