Clearly in the eyes of JR and Egg, he is still a top class striker, so buy him back then

I did but I chose to ignore your sly dig.
Wasn’t a sly did I was stating a fact, unless you feel your team are pulling up trees having just drawn at home and failing to score against Doncaster?

The last word I would use to describe Grigg is lazy. Was a work horse for us even if he struggled to score in the Championship.
He was fine in League one so obviously its the coaches and managers at Sunderland who are shyte.
Struggling to get out of league one, being such a massive club must be of big concern of their fans. Don’t get out this season and they will soon be behind Hartlepool in terms of top north east teams.
Best thing Grigg can do is get away from that shower of shyte.

We did pretty well when we were under the stewardship of one guy previously who had nobody to answer to.

Now he wasn’t afraid of making decisions. My lad worked for him years ago and somebody got bollocked for the number of pens on reception and the number of bog rolls the office workers were going through. How ironic that was, being that he started off his rise to fame selling um.
Cook is proving to be “unsackable” and not many employees can say that these days. The “results industry” theory has been turned on its yed!

He struggled in the championship when he was with us, he’s now struggling with a league one team who are not exactly pulling up trees.
I’ve never been one for wanting old players back, let him go to Blackpool were he might get a regular start and hopefully find his scoring feet.

He’s the chief exec so if he can’t make decisions, if I was him I’d get out the club as quick as I could.
We have no chance of having a go at the owners they are just owners in name, weve more chance of seeing a ghost.
The book stops with Royle as it did with Whelan, Sharpe and dare I say it Bill Kenyon.

To be fair our anger should be directed at Darren Royle not Cook. There is no doubting that Cook has tried his best and will be hurting more than us, however his direct boss has taken no action when it was obvious Cook had took us as far as he could.
Cook’s post match interview following the Swansea match was the most uncomfortable 3 minute viewing I’ve ever witnessed. Ashen faced, twice wiping his eyes, shoulders slumped, I could feel his pain and Royle must have done to.
The man looks ill and if I was his boss I would have put him out his misery several months ago. What’s even sadder is our fans are also looking like that come final whistle of each game. The club is turning sour, if things continue it will take more than a defib to revive it. News of Ollie Crankshaw going out on loan today has deflated us even more, he should be getting a toe dip into the first team squad to see how he fairs.
We need to make Royle and Jackson uncomfortable, they seem totally unaware of our current predicament or are content to let it drag on.

Crankshaw who I thought was outstanding against Liverpool u23’s sent to Dundee on loan.
Let’s not forget, William’s and Dowell are not much older than him.
Cook must have his eye on a 30+ year old coming back from a series on injuries and a scouser

Has Crankshaw gone to Dundee or is it Newsnow speculation, nothing on official site.
On official site now. At least they got him to sign an extended contract before he went on loan.

Kipre was back to his usual self on Satdy, not marking up.
If you look at his positional play closely, take note of how many times players get goal side of him. Must admit he has improved lately but we are still leaking in pish poor goals.
If AC Milan are in for Robinson, I’d start working on the boy Pearce in training to get him ready for the Wednesday game. Alternatively, draft Luke Robinson in, he looks a handy defender, doesn’t give much away and looks a hard little bugger who can handle himself.

We have a great replacement for Robinson if he does go abroad, his name is Robinson. Will he be given a chance Baineseque like, or will the 4th official stalker, move Niasmith to left back, both wrecking the lads form and making us a worse side than we currently are??

We’ve got a manager out of his depth, why not risk a few players being there as well.?
Byrne scored but didn’t make one decent tackle, everything came from their left. I know Dujon is injured so we are struggling at right back but I like my full backs to be defenders first and decent going forward second.
This is now getting ridiculous, everyone is feeling depressed and not enjoying their football, its took a while to grind me down but I’m down. Warnock has gone public that he would like to get a club till the end of the season, are you listening Royle and Co?

Would be great to see but like I said, they’d be under pressure to do something to win the game and to not make a mistake and lose us the game. Some players thrive off that (wayne rooney for example although he’d been playing a while before that goal) others dont. Cook obviously doesn’t want to put them in that position.

There’s no point going on about it, I don’t think it’s going to change.

Exactly and that’s why relegation is now a certainty.

The young boy Knight played again for Derby today in their 1-0 win.
Been playing well in their development squad so thrown in to see how he faired, never missed a game since. Cook talks about not many young players making the big step up, guess what the reason for that is down to managers like him.

Gary Roberts coming on as a sub whilst chasing the game. How good would it have been to see Crankshaw or Joseph coming on. We may not have won but we didn’t anyway.
