This cold snap is here for a few weeks, so we will have to play the cup game with the undersoil heating on no matter what.

Thought Walton was excellent. He actually caught balls didn’t try that stupid punching that Jones does. If you thought he was poor you was definitely affected by the cold weather.
The weather was pretty dire for most of the game, maybe that prevented every kick from being on the money.
Glad to see the back of Jones for a few weeks at least. I always like a keeper looking a giant in-between the sticks, Jones looks like Jimmy Krankie in there.

Went to the ticket office today for mine in the West Stand and was told it’s unreserved seating.

The Fylde game ticket news link was removed yesterday from the official site and has returned today having been changed to unreserved seating in West stand.

Great snow games. Halifax at home in FA Cup. Graham Oates scored from corner.
Froze as a little lad when Alfie Craig equalised(disallowed)in last second against Tranmere in FA Cup replay.

The Halifax game was the first time I cried at a football game. Fekin Freezing! The second time was May 2013.

Can never understand the issue with approach roads and paths. Robin Park retail park was awash with shoppers when the last game at the DW was called off. Kids in prams, toddlers wearing wellies, old folk with walking sticks and football fans are not capable of walking to the ground.

No gobby…a neutral who went !!!…Still as we know only your opinion matters.League 1 is poor as it was when we won it 2 seasons ago. Thats taking nothing away from us so far this season. Can only beat what’s in front of us.Still I’m not having this blowing smoke up their arses crap,we were shit last night against a very poor side,2nd half was cringe worthy.

I’ll say it again, a neutral who supports who? Just answer the fekin question instead of being defensive and throwing insults.

Have I not been banging on about fans standing up blocking kids views at away games?
They don’t need to be drunk they still block views if full of ale or not. Even last night the seating area which I chose specifically as I like sitting down at matches, had people standing. I had to tell a group of 5-6 fans stood up in front of me to sit down which was met with the usual glare and ignorance. This really needs sorting otherwise the young uns and owd uns will stop going. Paying extra for seats and standing up you cant make it up!

I thought Reece James was our MOTM but the coach I’m on has given 30 votes to Dan Burn. Was he not at fault for their goal? Initially letting their man stroll past him?

Yes he intended us having 7000 passes and none forward. That was worse than watching Bobby’s team. Well done to Fylde they had the best two players on the field in number 8 and number 3. Get me back home ffs.

Dont take things too personal Dave, it’s not worth it. In most cases the people behind the keyboard are not the same in “real life” when you meet up with them.

I like a wind up now and again and a good old argument occasionally, it’s something to do when the missus is watching her soaps.

You need to take a chill pill and let things go over your head, the best way to deal with snidy remarks is to ignore them. Silence is often the master stroke in winning an argument or responding to someone who is looking for a reaction.

I don’t mean to be nasty here, but the tell tale signs of you getting wound up is you start to throw words in capitals, as if to emphasise your point. Its then not too long before you start saying your leaving the board for good. It’s happened so many times before.

At the end of the day we are all tics fans, we all love our club, use this board to get some pleasure out of it, don’t let posters get at you. I’ve met 4 or 5 of the old and new wind up merchants, devils advacorts, argue for argument sakers etc and they are all decent blokes. From time to time I do lose it a bit, but it’s usually only to personal insults and it’s a controlled response.

Good luck with future posts, you do make a good contribution and have a good knowledge about our club, just sail along and use this board wisley, don’t let it use you.

Talking to Jayt at match today club only received them yesterday.

so i’ll take it they will take the money for the tickets once they send them? They aint taken anything from me yet…[/quote]

That’s right once the ticket has been allocated the money will be taken. I think we will all have them by Tuesday at latest.

They have the steepest stands I’ve ever seen. Been before but didn’t remember them. The ground was a little less than a third empty today, but it actually looked more sparsely than that. Nice size for league one club and bottom half championship.
