I seem to remember him having a mare at Noblot when we got tonked a few tears back. Exchanged words with Rosler as he left the field having been subbed and that was it.

Just checked my ticket which came today and I am in the £55 seats block 229. That’s a 30 dab saving. :cheer:

So once again it pays to get your tickets late, even though in my case it wasn’t intended.

Must admit today is the first time ever I’ve had to do a lot of messing about to get my tickets on line, that includes all the wemberley trips.

I wanted 4 tickets – 2 adults, one over 65 and one for my 7 year old grandson. I personally didn’t agree with season ticket holders getting the chance of two tickets. Just because someone had bought tickets previously should not have given them the chance of a ticket before a season card holder. Its ludicrous in my opinion and can fully understand why many fans are angry and disappointed.
I would have willingly accepted the fact that my grandson missed out on a ticket due to season ticket holders getting first choice.
My personal gripe was that my grandson who has been to about 6 matches over the last two seasons including two away trips, has no previous buying history on the system. He is not old enough to buy his own tickets so his dad and me have always got them for him. The ticket office could look on their system and see that I have previously bought tickets for a minor.
It would not allow me to buy more than one ticket per client code and would not let me buy an under 16’s ticket on an adult season ticket.
The only way I got him a ticket today was to borrow a season card from someone who can’t go, and buy him an adult ticket.
The ticket office acknowledged this problem when I contacted them and are taking it up with the Website Administrator.

Started last week & again this week. Does this mean he is in the plans of joyce?

He must be marrer, like I said last week what would be the point of playing him if he was off? Next week will tell us if we are really on the up, here’s hoping eh?
If that young right back had not scored 2 goals on his debut Morsy would have got my MOM vote. The difference he makes in the middle of the park is unbelievable. We surely should give him better terms than Barnsley, come on DS and JJ!

I’ll be going to OT just like I’m going to Burton Satdy.

One game is costing £24 for ticket and £14 for coach therefore £38 dabs. There will be at least 2- 21/2 hour journey to and from the game and a ground that will have maximum 5,000 on.

The other game will cost £45 for ticket and a couple of quid petrol money as 4 of us will be going in one car. The journey will be around an hour to and from ground if you park in the right area and there will be 70,000 on.

OK I’m fortunate, I can afford to watch us play away, however, which one of the above seems better value for money……the Man Utd game or the Burton Albion game?.

Having said that, one game we have a chance of winning, the other will see us getting the usual 4 or 5 goal whipping. :(

I thought the balance of the whole team was right today.

The engine room of Morsy and McDonald, complemented by the smooth silky skills of the creative Gomez, was the best I’ve seen in ages.

The tempo and energy levels of all the players seemed to have doubled from the previous games, Will Grigg looked like a man possessed, winning the majority of the long balls and making the runs intio the box at the right time.

Power seems to have found a good position in the team and was encouraged by WJ all the game to get involved.

This was the key for me, too often players, particularly midfielders and defenders, have passed the ball and then thought that their work is done. Today I heard WJ shout “get involved”, “join in” and consequently we have foraged in numbers and not in ones and twos.

Lets hope we can take this into our league games, if we can I think we will get ourselves out of this mess.
Well done to WJ for taking the FA Cup seriously! :cheer:

History as shown that some teams who move up a league do well, the surprise package syndrome, we did it in our first season in the prem. Preston did it last season.

You would be foolish to think Burton are safe, very foolish indeed at this stage. I will be extremely disappointed if we don’t finish above them.

All’s I can say you can’t knock the lads for effort, if we’d gamble abit more in the last third and turned a few of those 0-0’s into 3 points we’d be hovering around the play-offs.

We need to concentrate getting the ball into Grigg Just like Deli Ali did at MK Dons. We spend so much time pishin around with the ball in the last 3rd it’s frightening

….and what league was that in mon?

When will the penny drop that the difference from league One to the Championship is massive in terms of quality of teams and players.

Have you forgot all the goals that was created for Will Grigg last season, he didn’t need Deli Ali, the likes of Yannick, Jacobs, Power etc gave him plenty of ammo and he notched at a decent rate after a slow start.
Its not a case of pishin around, its more about being closed down by well drilled teams who dont give you an inch of space. :(

I tend to give the manager and coaches at the club the benefit of the doubt when making decisions on letting players go. They see them day in day out, they are privy to players performances during real game training. They see if they fit into the style of play the manager wants to play. They are better placed to see which players in the squad fill particular positions better than other squad members.

We are entitled to our opinion but base them on watching players once a week [many on here don’t even see them live weekly and that’s not a criticism], on watching you-tube videos, on seeing them playing in other teams and leagues and making judgments based on what could have been.

In addition to the above, we make comments following a defeat or string of poor performances. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve walked off grounds saying that I’m going to no more away games, yet within a couple of days I’m on line getting tickets.

WJ may have wanted to keep Morsy, who knows but in this instance it was out of his hands.

Sorry jr marrer but it was the said manager and coaches who last season had us playing a more offensive style had Will Grigg scoring for fun full of confidence and had us enjoying our football. In summer all changed Morsey and Colclough were shipped out we went to a more defensive tactic and instead of letting last seasons momentum and confidence take us through the first few games of the new season the squad was overhauled to excess. If they see so much on the training pitch then how come they cant get it right on match days?. I feel it is unfair to lay blame for this season on the players when all the major disastrous decisions have been off field cock ups. It is funny how we can watch the same games and have so varied opinions but to me the manager and coaches are the root of all our problems. If Grigg goes we will see just how good he is in a more balanced set up than we have here. Chelsea are the perfect example of good coaching/bad coaching, last season Mourinho lost it and they were shite. Conte has basically the same players yet this season they look like world beaters. If we cant get it right off the pitch we will never get it sorted on it.
I see where you coming from NL, but I strongly suspect WG on current ratings will not get the chance of playing under a “better” coach. He will more than likely go back to league one or be a bench warmer with someone like Sheff Wednesday. :(
He will certainly be a Div 1 player if he stays next season unfortunately.
Not necessarily so, there’s a long way to go and a lot of points to play for. I wouldn’t put any money on us going down, but I might risk a few Bob on us staying up. Time will tell but I would sooner be a Wigan supporter than a Rotherham, Blackburn, Cardiff or Bristol City. Theres always at least one team that fall like a lead balloon and this season it looks like being Bristol City.
