In my record collection stored away in my garage, I’ve got Black Sabbath’s famous Paranoid album, next to several Carpenters albums, every album that John Miles ever released and all the early albums of the Jackson 5.

What a journey!Do you not think the laziness is due to Coyle’s lack of fitness training ?
Nope, it was definitely his ego that got in the way.
Reports say Blackburn are looking at him so maybe he might now realize he’s not that good and start trying? But would rather watch him try on the football league show rather than at the DW.
They’ve signed Danny Graham so their interest may have waned.

What a journey! As I’ve said I’m still undecided what to do, this was an interesting post on FB.
Quote;
“I, probably like most of my generation, knew very little about the EU. I had done a Masters degree in the 70s; brought up my family, and by the early 2000s was ready to return to University. I was privileged to return to University to complete a Second Masters Degree; this time in European Policy, European Law and European Economic Analysis. Words cannot describe the horror I felt as I delved into the truth of the EU. Sends shivers down my spine to this day, remembering the horror of the realisation, that we had been hoodwinked into the EU by deceitful, disingenuous, intentionally devious means. The populace of the UK was never intended to find out the truth behind the EU, until they reckoned it was too late. Truth is it almost….almost…almost is too late. We already are, in the UK, all but a federal state in the United States of Europe. You never quite realised that, did you? Why? Because ‘ they very deliberately decided not to tell you! They deliberately created a political elite who knew full well that power was being ceded , systematically, Treaty by Treaty, to the EU. But who knew? They did! But were we the UK populace ever informed? Absolutely not! Why? They made mega millions from EU scammery & we the minions were shafted day, daily, monthly, yearly & forever. Where did your pensions go? Where did your schools, your NHS, your housing, your social services go? Well, £55 million per day, every day, every week, every month, every year….. Guess what? That is why UK is bankrupted for generations to come, with a £1.5 trillion pound debt. I wish I could enlighten the populace of the UK to the real truth about the EU. I spent a year studying the EU in depth, visiting both the EU Parliament and EU Commission in Brussels. Every word I heard in lectures, hundreds of hours of lectures, every word I researched for my thesis and every thing I saw in Brussels, lead me to the inescapable conclusion that the EU is an utterly corrupt, profligate, political monstrosity which has destroyed British jobs and bankrupted the UK for generations to come. The EU operates on lobbying, which is the technical term for bribery and corruption. Whatever Cameron says, EU law has supremacy over our UK law unless there is Treaty change. He may say so but the truth is that 27 other countries will never agree, this side of eternity, to change the Treaties.
So …..what is the connection between the EU, the Bilderberg Group and the almost completed TTIP? (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)
The Bilderberg Group meet in secret each year and they are a group of phenomenally wealthy men and women from the worlds of big business, banking and politics, coming from across Europe and the US.
The TTIP represents an integral component of Bilderberg’s attempt to rescue the unipolar world (New World Order) by creating a “world company,” initially a free trade area, which would connect the United States with Europe. Just as the European Union started as a mere free trade area and was eventually transformed into a political federation which controls upwards of 50 per cent of its member states’ laws and regulations with total contempt for national sovereignty and democracy, TTIP is designed to accomplish the same goal, only on a bigger scale.
The treaty is likely to advantage the corporations of both the US and the EU, while disadvantaging their people. It presents a danger to democracy and public protection throughout the trading area.
The Bilderberg Group are focussing on how to derail a global political awakening that threatens to hinder Bilderberg’s long standing agenda to centralize power into a one world political federation, a goal set to be advanced with the passage of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP),
Bilderberg globalists are aghast and there is panic in the ranks that their planned EU superstate is being eroded as a result of a populist resistance all around Europe, mainly centred around animosity towards uncontrolled immigration policies.
And just who might we expect to find at such a secret gathering? Angela Merkel, Herman Van Rompuy (ex President of EU Council), Jean Claude Juncker, (Present President of the EU Commission), Martin Schultz,( Present President of EU Parliament), David Cameron, George Osbourne, Tony Blair, Ed Balls, Rona Fairhead, (Chair of the BBC Trust), Michael O’Leary of RyanAir, Stuart Rose (ex M & S, and BSE Chairman), Bill Clinton, Barak Obama………..…and many more. What do they all have in common? They are all trying to persuade you to stay in the EU. Why? Because it is in their warped self interest to do so! Is any of this in your interests? Absolutely not! Their modus operandi is that truth becomes lies and lies become truth. Sound familiar?
No possible option available, other than to get Out of EU ASAP. Vote Leave!

What a journey!I thought that was it on the little cobbled footpath going over the bridge towards Wigan Pier. Must admit though, I’ve never seen photos of Billy B with a flat cap on, so was a bit dubious.

What a journey! At least the players were probably pished up and out of sight of thousands of youngsters.
There are full scale brawls in many Soup or Leak games and nobody gives a shiny shyte. :ohmy:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! Was in Douglas a few months back, that’s in a great location to.
Like a lot of UK holiday resorts, the place has lost its tourism to cheap hols abroad. Perhaps if we do leave the EU and the likes of Spain, France, Greece and Italy become priced out, our own tourism might rise from the ashes.
Having said that the thought of spending a fortnight in Rhyl, has just made me heave. :sick:From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!I’ve been offered a deal. Apparently, if i let a bloke take £350 out of my bank account each week, he’s going to give me vouchers worth £180, which i can only spend on things he’s decided i can have, at shops which he’s also decided for me.
In return he is allowing me fishing rights in my private lake (and lets me keep a few fish a year) he’s going to let me buy things from his friends and family (German cars, French wine etc) His friends and family can also come and see me whenever they feel like it, and i can send pocket money to his children back home.
He also states that my taxes and NHS treatment go to his mates residing in this country that haven’t contributed!
Now should i accept this offer, (or anything similar?)
Ps. That’s completely inaccurate.
The top three countires of origin for immigrants into UK are India, Pakistan and Poland – so only one is in EU.
And 61% of those arriving into UK already have a job before they get here.
But let’s not allow the facts to get in the way etc etc.
Is that really something to take positives from? That means 39% are coming into our country to make a negative impact on our economy. The 61% obviously have jobs that our own fellow countrymen could have.
Cameron has been using these employment figures not just for this referendum, but for the Tory campaign as well. Although on the plus side, 80% of the 61% are on minimum wage or below.
Traditionally our university / college students and young people in general have filled the low paid jobs in order to get a bit of money together out of term time, or as a filler in until they get something better, no chance now. This is just one issue, there are loads more, but there has been nobody and I mean nobody, from Bleave or Brexit who has sold either option to me. You mention facts, when in reality, there are no facts. Politicians and financial gurus are second guessing what will happen if we leave, that’s all they can do.
I suppose this vote to stay or leave is akin to investing your savings. Do you protect your banked money and get just a small interest return, or do you take a chance on the market, to potentially get a far bigger return, but with the added risk of it going paps up.
There’s part of me saying that things in this country are currently moving in the wrong direction at the moment,so lets take a chance. I’m at that stage in my life where I own everything I’ve got, I have my sights on retirement so what the eck. The other part of me is looking at my kids and grand kids and thinking, what does the future hold?, this vote will shape their future.
I honestly don’t know how I will vote, but what I do know, is that this can be debated all night long but there is nobody on CL that will convince me one way or the other. :blink:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I’m in the No camp here. I was one of Jordy’s biggest fans when he was here and could accept him getting caught in possession 3 or 4 times out of 5, because he could make that killer pass and had superb vision and creativity.
My feelings now however, are more on keeping things fresh and keeping the young hungry, chase crisp packet players, rather than “luxury” players, the catagory in my opinion, that Gomez fits into.
I feel that we have the players who can pick out that killer pass, just look at the Michael Jacobs season highlights video on the official site and in particularly his assists.
Sam Morsey and David Perkins are also capable of executing the slide rule pass, as is Stephen Warnock when marauding forward from left back
GC has already turned down the opportunity to bring him here before he was shipped out to Blackburn. It’s not worth upsetting the camp or wage structure for him. The signing of the young lad Gilbey from Colchester will excite me more, having seen how the signings that GC made last year performed.
You cannot do any better than winning the league, so nothing missing at all in last years campaign. From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!Another 180 minutes of bench-warming and you might get to keep him for next season.
If he gets game time in the next two matches and plays shyte, Sunderland might come in with a £15m bid. B)

What a journey!I’ve never been a lover of going back for former players, they’ve had their day and 99 times out of 100 never rekindle their old flame.
We managed to get the best out of Charlie when other teams couldn’t. However, he’s better being left in the past glories scrap book, we can still dip in it every now and again to watch the likes of the Arsenal and West Ham games, great, great memories. :)

What a journey! He’s a worse version of Grant Holt – with a very poor attitude. He would add nothing to your squad except a higher wage bill and a knowledge of the best watering holes. Thanks for showing some concern Mutty. Can you now explain why Sunderland paid £12m for a poor, uninterested, money grabbing drunk?
