Congratulations on retaining your crown as best away day experience in the Championship for visiting fans with an average score of 7.83.
That was always going to happen, being that nearly every one of those teams walked away with points in the bag. :(

What a journey!Well those strikers will be staying were they are anyway, they’ve finally spoken.Sharpe talked the talk on them but they were never coming back. That’s what I can’t stand about these folk when they say one thing, completely untrue and try to pull the wool over the fans eyes. Like a crap used car salesman from the 70’s.
What the fek are you on about?, they both have current contracts with Wigan and unless someone comes in with a reasonable bid for um, will return for pre-season training just as Sharpey says.
We have all read about how they both want to stay with their loan clubs, but by the same token, I wouldn’t mind spending a few years were I am typing this from, but unfortunately I will have to report back to work on Monday. :(From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I think Dave Whelan should stand.Guaranteed the ching-a-ling vote, and there must be some corners of the World that haven’t heard about his leg.
Why what’s happened to his leg?

What a journey!Your the one who is talking shite griff cowie can not pass head tackle or shoot yes he runs about a lot but let’s be honest you can get 50 gobshites from the soccer dome to do thatCalm down Malc, I know how angry you can get having seen you’re reaction when that lad draped his flag over your angle of view at Wembley.

What a journey! Are we really serious about bringing “George best” back to the club? :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! At least we now know what his intentions are and so I say get rid if we can and bring in a good young player in the mould of an Ellington or Roberts that would be fine if not then a youth team player would do for me over him any day of the week.
BTW that impression of Dyche was brilliant – I doubt we will have any takers. He’ll probably end up back at Rochdale scoring 20 a season again.

What a journey!Blackburn have a statue near the ground of Jack walker and whelan as done a similar thing with us so why not. Be good to see him holding the fa cup
The difference being Jack Walker was well liked by everyone in the town. Whereas D.W. I’m afraid, isn’t :(
This is not about how well liked he is, its about what he has done for the town in particular, the football club.
There are statues of Henry viii all over the place and he was mustered for chopping his own wives heads off. :woohoo:

Is that one of Whelan’s supermarket old toilet rolls wrapped round his leg?

What a journey!Every team in the soup or leek apart from Catalan Dragons, are your big local derbies.
Sure they are. Now, who in the 3rd division are going to be the team that you cheer when you hear they are losing at half time. Who are your footballing big rivals, and will they hate you with as much passion as Preston*, Bolton* do?
Whats going to be the chant from the remaining available seats in the Boston stand:
We hate Bury and we hate Bury
If you all hate Fleetwood clap your hands.
Stand up if you hate the ‘Dale.
Oldham – You’re just a small town in Yorkshire.(* – actually they dont even recognise you, let alone class you as a rival)
The seasons finished and your still obsessed with the number one sporting team in Wigan.
Let it go lad, you’re going to die an old bitter man. ;)From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!I love getting under your skin Griff, don’t like it much do you?
You’ve still not convinced me that you have any idea what the Chief Execs role is.
From the comments made by some on here, its the easiest job in the world to do. You can make decisions, but are not accountable for them, I wouldn’t mind some of that. :cheer:
As for the yellow wet floor signs, I don’t put them down, I get somebody else to do that. Must try harder Griff my old bean! :lol:Isn’t it funny how people always resort to the “I was only on the wind-up” or “I was only trying to get under your skin” defence when they realise that everyone thinks they’re being a complete tit?
I have no inclination whatsoever to ‘convince’ you what I know or don’t know about a CEO’s role, at Wigan Athletic, elsewhere in football or in business and industry in general. Anyway, I am convinced you haven’t the intellectual capacity to take it on board even if I did.
Just for the record, for my part, I wasn’t trying to wind you up. I was seriously trying to point out how stupid you were being. My work here is done, I think.
Oh go and do a running jump you big baby, are you not due for another break from this board?
Would you not be aggrieved if your season ticket seat was suddenly made unavailable, with no real reason put forward by the club?.
Once again I started a serious thread and you’ve turned it into a name calling match. You do it all the time, is it not time to grow up Chris FFS.
Anyway, sorry for giving you all this “work to do” on here, I’m glad you’ve managed to finish it though.

What a journey!Anyway there been a positive outcome from this ridiculous situation.
My lad and all his mates are buying a season ticket the cheaper end block seats and moving over to the centre block seats on KO.
Did the club really think this one through??? :blink:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Oh dear, this is far too easy, but I’ll give it a go anyway….Is that the same 350 fans who have been getting pish wet through for the past 10 years, come on Griff think your responses through before engaging the send button you nerd?.
Unlike you, I’m sure the 350 would have had the common sense to work out if they would get wet or not. This move has got fek all to do with that, the fans have not been consulted and have chosen to renew their seats every season, knowing full well they will probably get wet and for many games, get blinded by the sun that hovers over the West.I rest my case. Couple of words there that don’t really belong in that paragraph, given the other highlighted nonsense you wrote.
As for Dave Whelan being solely responsible for appointing managers over the past 20 years, then yes he will have rubber stamped every one, but actually selected them all himself?.Yes, you totally deluded bellend! Of course he has!!!
This is getting sooooo funny, do you actually know what the role is of the Chief Executive of any organisation?, perhaps not if you have always been hanging onto the bottom of the page of your organisation’s Management Structure. :PAnd now, you are really making yourself look silly. Why don’t you just carry on putting out your yellow “Caution! Wet Floor” signs after you’ve mopped up and leave conversations about chief executives to the grown-ups and clever people?
What a journey!I said that Jonathon Jackson also has a say in the matter. He is the Chief Exec FFS, what responsibility does he have then?
I would guess Jonathon Jackson also had a say in whether it was a good idea for Whelan to give newspaper interviews when defending his decision to appoint Mackay. Didn’t have much effect though did it?
I think you’ve just backed my case to the hilt there Sammy, thanks very much. :)
