You say that the squad has been getting worse and less experience every season yet just a few paragraphs earlier say that in the third season we bought good and experienced players (Bramble, Sibierski, Melchiot etc)
The truth is the squad has got gradually worse not in terms of personel but in performances and that can only be down to one man! Also the players that are being brought in are not good enough and to say we are doing it on the cheap is wrong (£6m on Boselli)Because most of the so called pundits dont actually watch the games they see highlights and look at the stats. For most of the games we have had more possession and this is where the “experts” get their passing team from.
However we watch them week in week out and realise that most of this passing is across our back four or backwards or sidewaysCarroll

the one person I didnt want them to bring in was Allerdyce as he would have kept them up. Lets just hope it takes them a while to get used to him as West Brom are one of my tips for relegation
If we go down I think only McArthur and Moses will be here next season and maybe Alcaraz and McCarthy if he wants to play regularly
Cant see what benefit this will do to the team or the lad. Everyone makes a mistake however the whole team are going to be scared to do anything now incase it leads to a goal to the other team
I cant understand why people are against Whelan so much. I would rather have him here and be where we are than not have him and most probably be out of business
Yes I did watch during all these times. Im not going to argue with the point you have made about a good young squad which I think only proves my point more. We have a better players than we have had under other managers yet we are in a worse position? I dont believe that we would be in this position if Bruce, Jewell or maybe even Hutchings or Deehan were in charge for that matter
I would add that my satisfaction with our playing style has been up and (mainly) down this season but has improved over the last 3 games during which we have played in a much more positive manner
Really? Villa we played for the last 10 mins and we sat back against a poor West Brom side who have the worst defense trying to protect a 1 goal lead

No their probably wasnt the same the year later, however it was clear they were still together against Sheff Utd could you see us going to Stoke the last game needing a win and getting it?
