I dont see how loaning him to Italy will help him. Even if he scores a bag full he will still have to adapt to the pace and physical aspect of the English game all over again next season. To do this he has to play games, prefarably with another striker next to him.
Played well today and hope that he gets game time to develop and hopefully become a good player or us. Also was very impressed with McArthur as i have been everytime he has played for us. De Ridder looked threating at times and woulkd like to see him on the becnh more oten as he is more likly to cause problems than Gomez
Hamburg have confirmed we have made a bid to take him on loan, so there is some truth in it.
I dont think he is as skillful as N’Zogbia but he is faster would love to see both of these in the same team with Moses coming off the benchI think it showed late on when Pollitt came out to puch a cross and clattered into Davies as well, something Kirkland wouldnt do for fear of getting injured. Shame as he could have been one of the best keepers in the country had he stayed injury free
Would love to see him here was City’s best player for 2 or 3 seasons before they started spending stupid money. However, I am doubtful if he would come here.
I see we have been linked with Dutch winger Eljero Elia on loan. Would be a cracking signing as this lad has pace to burn which is somethingwe have been desperatly lacking with N’Zogbia out
Dont agree with the orignal comment. How many of these would have played had they been available? Most probably 2 (N’Zogbia and McCarthey). Its says something about the sdtate of the squad if we struggle so badly with two players missing. Newcastle had their main player missing but you wouldnt have known it tonight
I enjoy watching Spain and Arsenal who play the passing game but the difference between us and these two is the players find the tarked regularly and actually pass the ball forwards once in a while
I think he would be best ‘in the hole’ as he doesnt have the pace to be a winger unless he plays similar to Beckham although Utd seems to play 2 fast wide men at the moment
If he gets his chances at Utd then he has all the ability to be an England player. However, I fear he will not be given enough chances and will be sold to someone like Sunderland
Not Caldwell’s biggest fan myself but he does bring a leader and a bit of british grit to the team
Both will be back earlier than first expected however it looks like it will be early Feb before we see either of them. Gomez anyone?
Exactly what I said after the game. Hopefully can keep this going for the upcoming games and get some points on the board
I think Wolves are sure to go down.
For the other two places I think it will be between us West Brom, Birmingham and Fulham. I dont think West Ham will go down as the FA and referees wont allow it. Also Blackpool could struggle in the second half of the season, remember hull and Burnley?Thorne (Stoke), Earnshaw (Cardiff) also Harewood has a good record against us (Forest, West Ham and Blackpool)
