Yes it was then relegated back.
Hope they do achieve their aim of premier league football again but I won’t be nipping down the bookies.
Apologies but just don’t think they have the club’s interests first and arent particularly bothered about the club or the fans.Don’t think they have what it takes to run a football club city were well rid and rebuilt without him.
Therefore I’m concerned.Morsy is the team captain that’s it.
Maybe move the Eusebio statue to Leigh for the 2021 ‘world cup’ where the world can see it at its future home.
Thanks for that.
Bit more than things ticking along nicely good post. This threads quieter than the new owners.
Didn’t go myself but surely something exciting, encouraging, controversial or interesting was said? The facts are-
1. Sunderland are a league 1 club.
2. Have just paid 4 million on a proven league 1 striker.
3. Attendances are irrelevant to how the team performs. How many million?? Not the end of the world is it.
This is the championship and Clarke is a bigger threat than Grigg.
Clarkey would of had 2 today If Naismith cross 2nd half was anywhere near him.True but he needs to score first so if he doesn’t he’s in for some big money signing criticism Grigg and Power are league 1 players.
League 1 striker signs for league 1 club realistically good move for Will and good business for Wigan.4 mill sad to see him leave that offer is never going to be declined.
Grigg and Power are league 1 players and both had chances to prove otherwise so take the cash and move on.
Grigg wouldn’t of started anyway this is 3 points there for the taking a good performance and 3 points will settle things nicely.
Sorry Griggs gone yes.
4 million we have had Sunderlands pants off we rarely sell any player on the cheap, sure he will help them and ultimately promotion but realistically Grigg is a league 1 player.Nobody was happy when wildchutt left but 7 million was a good deal.
Nobody happy now Griggs sold but I would of taken 4 million for a player suited to league 1. -
