I dob’t know what the roads are like that you regularly drive on but the ones in and around Leyland and Preston are absolutely shocking! There doesn’t seem to be anything being done about them either and they are just getting worse and worse!

When I read things like that link above knowing what is spent on things like the link below it makes my fucking blood boil!
Have you seen the potholes on Fox Lane just before the West Paddock roundabout. Must be about a yard long. Ridiculous. Been like that over a week
Same to you vat & to all.I’ll second that.
Have a great time everyone.
Just don’t be too hungover to spoil the party on Boxing Day!!!
Bloody rubbish WiganSurely our happy souls can’t complain tonight.
Happy Christmas everyone
My thoughts entirely.
All those chances it should have been at least 10-0
Seriously though, what a start to the festive fixtures…can’t wait till Tuesday….bring on Shrewsbury B)
Bolton game on 21/12/09 was called off due to snow. We were in Australia for Christmas it didnt snow there :woohoo:
Blackburn game 26/12/09 conditions very bad around the ground and a few peeps said it should have been called off. Game went ahead 1-1. Didnt attend as above :P
18/12/10 Villa game. Called off in the morning after the undersoil heating failed. Pitch frozen.
9/12/17 Fleetwood….wait and see
Just opened my present this morning. Ally that’s fantastic.
So grateful and thanks for coming last night.
Even the wrapping paper is ready and waiting in the toilet Sir.Can you start again in English?
Otherwise kindly do your love ins somewhere else
It’s just a case of Latics at home, I can go, so I go. No matter how angry I am about the FL allowing these sides in its still my club at home so I go cos I can do and the same next week and the same for Crawley. Saturday I won’t be as I have something else on but the other 7000 who couldn’t be arsed last night for one reason and another will be but many of those will duck the Crawley and Stanley game. I can’t understand why thousands just tail off when we aren’t playing league football. Last night was great and the atmosphere wasn’t much different than normal either.
A lot of season ticket holders are tight arses and dont want to pay for cup games.
If it was free for ST holders against Boro there would have been significantly more in attendance
The boycotting of reserve teams in the competition is an excuse!
I started a new job last week and don’t get home till 7.00 (Leyland) so mid week games are off the agenda for now league or not.
Might be able to work from home the odd day in the future, so I’m working on it ;)
No one else will be top of the table this season ;)
Tongue in cheek leyland, or mega confident.
It’s my split personality coming out again
Should have won 6-0 at least.
Bloody rubbish Wigan
Not the prettiest of wins, but who cares? 3-0, top of the table. No one else will be top of the table this season ;)
The qualification campaign has one aim only…to qualify.
Job done. Not pretty or convincing, but job done and move on.
14 consecutive home qualifing wins; not lost an away qualifier for 7 years.
The stats of world beaters :silly:
Proper friendlies to come against Germany and Brazil. Treat them as proper matches Southgate….to prepare for the real games to come in Russia.
Arguably the best thing that could happen to England is to be downgraded into the 2nd pot of seeds for the qualifiers, so we might face Germany, Spain etc and have to win the group to be sure of qualifing.
Incentive for Euro 2020 that we host the semi finals and final…scary that Euro 96 was 21 years ago
play each game as 70 minutes ball in play, stop the clock every time the balls goes out or the game is stopped, instantly cut out all of the time wasting/pretend I am injured shenanigans80 minute game turned into 120 minutes actual match time…what with the 15 replays to decide on a fingertip an inch or so :woohoo:
”Devastated and fragile” yes only because the moron got caught by camera ive watched the cricket all over and this guy was and i mean was class he should never play for England again, he was like an animal and belonged more at a football game from the 80’s he’s got history since 2011 all minor I might add but he reminds me of these petulant prima Donna premiership footballer bye bye fella what a waste. He hasn’t been charged yet, let alone convicted (apart from in the media)
Throw the book at him by all means then…But what about the “meeting” between Sir Ian B and that prat Chappell in Melbourne bar 1977 :woohoo:
David Warner still plays for Australia (Rooty has special plans for him no doubt come the winter).
A bonus point for scoring 3 goals. Whatever the eventual result. I became convinced of that after watching Liverpool v Newcastle April 1996 finished 4-3. Newcastle deserved something from the game. The next game I saw was the most awful 0-0 ever, can’t remember who so probably Coventry v Wimbledon. They should both have got 0 points.
Shake up the play offs. Give much more priority to the original table. 3rd is usually 10+ points ahead of 6th but they start again. Play off system should be final at Wembley as now, 3rd place should go straight to final. Play off series, 6th away to 5th. One off game, extra time, penalties etc. Winner then through to play away at 4th. Same again…loser out, winner into final at Wembley v 3rd.
Champions League…FA Cup winner should get the 4th spot. They are FA Cup “Champions”  The Cup Winners Cup was merged into the Champions League in 1999 ish, so appropriate for the FA Cup winner to be in the CL not the EL….
Owen Coyle’s new club.
BBC SportThe word banishment springs to mind B)
I’m on a little break in Scotland next week and will be going past their ground on the train.
I’ll give him a “wave” :lol:Whoever planned the fixtures needs their P45. I understand that most away games for Plymouth are a long way, but surely they could be given fixtures against Bristol Rovers, Oxford etc on midweek nights rather than a trip to Wigan!Didn’t the EFL in their ultimate wisdom decide a couple of years ago that fixtures would be planned so the longest trips would be midweek? The plan was the derby and other shorter travels could be done on a weekend when more fans could travel.
Basically the away fixtures would be for the many, not the few. May be this works, May be it doesn’t. Cast your vote :woohoo:
Their keeper played a blinder. Save off Jacobs especially.
Full credit to the chaps tonight for sticking at it and getting the win. After so many chances having not lead to a goal it’s easy for heads to drop and think it’s not our night and give up.
We’ll be far less dominant on Saturday and win 3 or 4 nil.
The Pinotage tastes nice tonight; the Fosters in the Springy stand (D entrance bar) wasn’t chilled it was freezing. What will it be like in winter? :S
