Fat Sam is ideally qualified to be England manager…..he’s won nothing.

This is a different appointment though; Sam is not and won’t be an FA puppet and will pick his players regardless of who they play for.

I have never sat in my match day ticket spot yet. Wander round depending on which way we are kicking but yours is a decent spot for when we are kicking towards the south stand. So if its second half kicking towards the south then I will have a decent spot reserved.[/

Will be off up to the caravan in the North Pennines at Alston. Hopefully it’s Newcastle away in August Sept or Oct or next March or April. 44 miles to drive or park at Haltwistle Haydon Bridge Corbridge or Hexham and get on the train to save parking in horse basher land.We stayed at Alston in March….lovely place. Very nice run over Hartside.
Shame you cant get the train straight from Alston anymore (closed 1976 :evil: )

Walsall beat Shrewsbury 6-0 tonight, beat Fleetwood 6-0 on Saturday and beat Port Vale 3-0 away on the final day.
Latics lose at Blackpool 4-0 and lose against Barnsley 3-0.
We end up with the same goal difference but are promoted by having scored one more goal than Walsall.
