Yep we’ve just been promoted and signed Jordi Gomez so we are a weaker team.
Jordi is in an elite hat-trick of Tics players, in case you’ve forgotten.
I view this season exactly the same as 2003-4. Mid table is the realistic ambition, but put a good run together and the play offs are achievable. At least Brian Deane’s retired
Anything else this season is a bonus. The big push is next season.
Not good enough for Premier League football?
He was good enough this day!
We ST’s are paying £7.78 per game.
That’s a knock out price, whatever the division.
Matchday price should be £15. Get bums on seats and get behind the boys.
Looking forward to it today, can’t wait.
We’ve had some tear ups over the years against Blackburn; let’s hope it’s another today.
Still talking about that 5-3 in Dec 2007
Taking the positives from tonight….
We can concentrate on the League
Fat Sam is ideally qualified to be England manager…..he’s won nothing.
The national side surely can’t sink any lower; but that’s been said before. I thought we had hit the bottom when Crapello left
This is a different appointment though; Sam is not and won’t be an FA puppet and will pick his players regardless of who they play for.
Being honest I don’t really know a lot about this guy. Is he any good?Reminds me of when Zaki signed. I jubilantly told the wife we’d signed the world ranked number 1 striker (as per that dodgy FIFA ranking thing).
She replied….”the world no 1 striker doesn’t sign for Wigan. There must be a catch” :S
Will the 27th August game end up being switched to Sunday
Sorted mine yesterday as well. Can’t knock it at £179.
Car parking ticket was £69 ie £3 a game (with Cup games free).
Where are you of to on your holidays Electricblue?
Released by Villa…
love to see him back in a Latics shirt.
Let him know they’re on sale now!
He’s been looking tired recently ;)
I know it makes sense. Even bought on the drip it is brilliant value. Hope the sales are going well. Need to know your seat numbers so to get one near you. I have never sat in my match day ticket spot yet. Wander round depending on which way we are kicking but yours is a decent spot for when we are kicking towards the south stand. So if its second half kicking towards the south then I will have a decent spot reserved.[/
R84 & R85 in the West Stand.
You’re not far in front of me Horc
Griff lurks behind us :woohoo:
A few weeks of Coyle and the Blackburn fans will be calling for the return of Steve Kean
Water will run uphill before the powers that be sort out Millwall :S
Will be off up to the caravan in the North Pennines at Alston. Hopefully it’s Newcastle away in August Sept or Oct or next March or April. 44 miles to drive or park at Haltwistle Haydon Bridge Corbridge or Hexham and get on the train to save parking in horse basher land.We stayed at Alston in March….lovely place. Very nice run over Hartside.
Shame you cant get the train straight from Alston anymore (closed 1976  )
Who’s going where for their hols this summer?
The wife and I are off to Lake Garda.
