Step up Macca. Did well when he got into the team this time last season. Remember the Blackpool game ?
The Premier League of greed has created these new breed of mercanaries; so good luck to those whose ego’s think they are now better than playing for little Wigan. Plenty will have failed before them.
On a positive note, all this recent Martinez hype in the media spotlight might just get some decent players wanting to play in a “footballing” team !!!!!!!
A boring 0-0 stalemate will do tomorrow neet !
As for Fulham, we have never done brilliantly at the cottage; so let’s hope we break the form book once again.
Intrestingly, a bloke said the other neet that Martin Jol hates Mark Hughes and might just “rest” a few key players against the Tics. With Fulham in 10th spot and nowt to play for, let’s hope it’s something he contemplates.Man Utd can take it easy on Wednesday and rest a few players then ! With an 8 point cushion, their sense of urgency & need will be much less than ours ! Now is the time; I can sense it happening !
Can’t lay too much blame on Caldwell. He won the ball in defence and had little option but to retain possesion and look for the pass to Moses. Vic receives the ball and Caldwell had to push forward because no other player was in a good support position. IMO there were adequate numbers at the back to deal with the Chelsea attack, but they had the added bonus of an awe struck linesman.
Know how you feel Ste !
Let’s hope this works to our advantage over the next few games, with the officials being hesitant to blow or flag against the Latics; fearing the scrutiny & exposure by video. Wishful thinking I know, but you have to hope for some equilibrium of justice, sonner rather than later.
But if the team can keep their heads up and continue to play well, then I think we can do it yet again and stick it up the establishment !
In th’owden days, anybody beating Liverpool at Anfield would be clapped off ! Just shows, how far they have come !!!! :) :) :)
YOU ARE MY FOOKIN SUNSHINESte, whether we stay up or go down it has been FOOKIN great following the Latics as long as we have. Today was just another little chapter to make us smile ! Now let’s do the Mancs !
LET THE BEERS TONIGHT BE COLD AND PLENTIFUL :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
In that last picture; is that Roy Cropper just in front of the horse ?
What games were these from.
I agree, you should sit in your seat. But why pick on the Tics fans when the Bowton lot, to our right, were stood up all match. A few chaps in front of me asked Plod why they were not being told to sit down also; to which they got go answer. So it’s one rule for one and another for the others.
Why don’t the stewards at the DW make the away fans sit down ????
but going on with a big fek off tractor that put 6 inch ruts across the surface was nothing short of scandalous. :woohoo:Que HORC: no different than having the Chubbies on ours then !!!!!!!!
Looks to be a decent buy. He plays simple but effective balls.
Normally I go on the train from Preston to the Horwich Stadium; but today I went especially in the car so that I could park at St Josephs and support Emma’s appeal. Thank’s for a good day Emma; I’m sure that all the Latics fans are praying for you to be better as soon as possible.
Just about 1hr 50mins ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chuckle Brother got the first, followed by Hamish for the second.
Great performance today; everyone of them. Yes Gomez included !!!allocation 1,900 sold outWill they allocate us any more ? Let’s face it, they need the money !
