I have just looked at the ‘Latics Legends’ squad for the match, and I don’t think they would have done any worse than this seasons squad in the Championship.

I’m up for it if you are !It certainly clicked for Bobby when it mattered I thought we were superb in the final but that was his Achilles heel consistency. Overall I would have PJ’s Latics all day and the shed full of goals we scored. But as you rightly say preference.

Correct Eggy, PJs team showed real desire in most games; none so more that the Sheffield United finale. I was physically & emotionally exhausted after that game ! Probably more so than the Cup Final.
So, Eggy & Nuneaton I’m with you on the PJ Era.
Not much hope but would prefer him over any of your list. Nathan Jones sounds like a strong candidate and he would rule Supreme.In fact the Supremes have already made a song about him. Subliminal, that one Donny.

Really disappointed with the inclusion of the loan players today, not to mention the one up front in this winner takes all friendly.
If Sharpie is reading; how about this: on ordering our season tickets by debit or credit card, the club only debit our respective cards after each home win, over the course of the season. Oh, I forgot to mention: all cup ties at home are FOC.
TBH our next Manager has been in the stands for the last few weeks !
