Of course there’s always the possibility that your Blackburn supporting mate , like you , doesn’t know his footballing a**e from his footballing elbow !!!

he knows that blackburn are crap, and they are –
but we all know they have taken 4 points of our team of world beaters this season, and perhaps even you know that there is a “possibility” that martinez is not upto the job being asked of him .
but why let that get in the way of a chance to cast an insult or two.

Never one to disappoint are you with your irrelevant remarks….the point was the venue not the display or result. By the way if you weren’t there then we were the lucky ones.

Now sit up and pay attention to Mr DavidGrays question and let’s see if you could at least get that right.

Somehow I doubt it……………

the point was as you well know it was ripping someone apart when they made a slip when trying to put there point of view across,

when it is something that is not popular with the ‘in martinez’s camp brigade’ and no other case can be made against – many on here including yourself resort to clutching at straws for punctuation or spelling mistakes ,or other general errors,or they even resort to general insults,is that because you perhaps feel superior to the protagonist or are just not intelligent enough to let it go even though you know what it means,
either way it shows you up for what you are,its like someone questioning whether or not you attended a game because they do not agree with ones comments about it.

does that and my previous post go someway to answering both yours and “mr david grays questions”?

“somehow i doubt it”

so some of you saw an awsome display agains prestons reserve team at DEEPDALE did you,i wasnt lucky enough to be there -but i was with the 20 or 30 others when 3rd division norwich hammered us 4-1,thats the same norwich that lost their first home game 0-7.

Are you sure? I was there and don’t remember a 4-1 hammering. Did you really go? What was the weather like?
i didnt travel there out of choice to see the game, i happened to be doing a job at a world famous norwich condiment maker and attended the game with a norwich fan and a blackburn season ticket holder and i think (well we all did) that against a div 3 side 4-1 and quite a few missed chances against a premiership team amounts to something of a hammering.

to be honest i cant remember what the weather was like it would be easy to say it was august and should be nice but quite a few times in both july and august on my frequent visits it poured down ,i actually remember one of the new buildings we had installed some machines in being flooded because the roofers had not sealed some roof lights, but i could only guess at what it was like that night, but i am not here to score points on the validity of games attended when no other credible argument is available to you.

i also wasnt at blackburn on wednesday but i know we were crap-why ?
because apart from reading papers-watching broken internet coverage then highlights on sky ,that blackburn fan i went to norwich with said to me and i quote:-
” i know we are rubbish and its terrible to watch under allardyce, but you are the worse team i have seen at ewood this season,in fact do you remember when we went to norwich-well you was as bad as that”.

for christs sake take your blinkers off –
as i said before look how many times we knock the ball long-usually bramble or figueroa and usually to a opposition full back or straight into touch or every now and again to figgs or zog.

its still long ball rubbish

a long ball from figueroa to figgs??

now THAT would be a cracker.
sorry about that i mean rodallega, but you know that ,so you resort to the childish act of pulling people up on bad spelling or lapses in thought as in my terrible oversight.

in reply to: TIGHT ARSE WHELAN IS TO BLAME! #20425

once again people on here chose to here and believe what they want to hear,

there has been a distinct silence,on the whelan comment “but i was also not very happy about signing a player not in their fist team even though roberto said he will be a good signing”

after what he said about bruce and his dodgy signings and looking at amaya, scotland, gomez, sinclair, diame dont you think david whelan has a right to be cautious.

We’re not long-ball Loudmouth. Yes there are stray diagonal passes, but I’d put good money on the fact that if you compare the number per game now to a match played under Bruce, you’d see a big difference.
Have a look a link below.
We have the ninth best passes completed figure – beaten only by ‘the big four’, Spurs, City, Fulham and West Ham. That doesn’t sound like a long-ball team to me.

Then look who have the lowest totals: Stoke, Sunderland and Bolton.
That tells a story.
Also interesting to see that Thomas is the top tackler, and N’Zogbia the top ‘dribbler’.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, … 70,00.html
i’ll say this again read what mark twain/benjemen disrailli said about statistics,

but does the completed passes count give a breakdown of the amount across the back four before the crossfield hoof or the 99% sideways or backwards that gomez makes,
thomas’s tackle count really shows well in the goals against column doesnt it or the calls from people on here(not me i might add)for him to be dropped –

but the “top dribbler” award is not to nzogbia,it goes to you lot on here drooling over the spanish one and his methods.

aah but Norwich are doing better now

just goes to show what improvements can be made if you sack a clueless manager then.

You evidently haven’t been watching us much this season if you think Martinez is long ball!

and “you evidently haven’t been watching us much this season” either if you think that the rubbish served up this season by the ‘spanish one’ is good football.

in reply to: Martinez again – clueless #20369

You guys are clueless.

Yes we may not win every game, we don’t have the best players in the league or the most money. But we ARE playing decent football. If you don’t realise that we are trying to get it down and play pass and move football. Then you need your eyes testing, the reason it hasn’t worked all the time is that we don’t have the players to play the system. Bobby needs to have a major clearout, and bring in the players he needs to make this system a success. You guys are just judging Roberto on results. This is the most ignorant way of judging a manager. As I said before, it’s a long term project. Inheriting a squad that’s used to playing the long ball tactics Bruce played aren’t going to settle into a complete contrast in tactics immediately. Fact.

“YOU GUYS ARE CLUELESS”

for christs sake watch the game tomorrow please and see how many times we knock long balls-the only difference with bruce he knocked it up the middle, now we knock it diagonal in the hope it drops lucky to rodellega or nzogbia or not straight into touch as happens at least 4 or 5 times every game, bruce or martinez its still long ball rubbish.

in reply to: Martinez again – clueless #20119

I think the fact that Loudmouth nearly always refers to Martinez as “the Spanish one” tells you that he never really wanted him in the first place (fair enough), but then isnt prepared to give him any leeway whatsoever and is constantly on his back.

no i didn’t want him here, only because despite all the hype about him he has done nothing,i would love to have seen a player who was immense in his day for us do well, but history shows that sentiment has no place in football, and the defense of him now by his supporters is based on that sentimentality.

the first game i saw his team was the friendly v st.mirren and i predicted then (on here) what the garbage he served up that day would lead to,as i said earlier not one of his signings have proved to be good enough, his stubborness to maintain a system that doesnt work ,has got us into the deep trouble we are in now,and he has turned players who have proved themselves on more than a few occaisons for us into quivering wrecks.

the football we play is worse than any we have played in the premiership,it is boring and of poor quality, and despite all the anti bruce brigade shouting those like me down, it is littered with long ball mediocrity, but now they tend to be cross field punts as opposed to the banging it to a target man as bruce tended to use at times, one thing if you knock it up to a target man it doesnt tend to go straight into touch-like it does 5 or 6 times a game under the spanish one.

so all in all i am pretty disallusioned with the whole thing,i have been mocked and abused for my belief, which i have held from the start of the season, but one thing for sure is the ranks of those who agree with me is growing day by day.

Disaster? To make Martinez the scapegoat is just crazy. He has not been given a penny to spend and so far has had to sell his best players with little funds to replace them. If you go regularly you must know that over the last 12 months we have lost our 4 best players with over 30 million coming into the club. Very little has been spent and thats a fact. He is doing his best with the little resources he has and until he gets more we will always be at the bottom end of the table!

martinez has sold one player – cattermole for 6 million – he also let brown leave,he has signed scotland, gomez, diame, amaya, mccarthy, thomas and sinclair on loan(in the summer) ,with exception of thomas all are martinez’s signings, add to this the half decent players he still has from last year, and a picture starts to emerge, this side is a pale shadow of last seasons,it ships goals for fun and is riddled with discontent,

so now tell me please that this is not down to one person, and while your at it tell me one of his signings who would get into any of our previous premiership teams,in actual fact tell me one that would have got into our promotion side, these signings are down to the ineptitude of the spanish one not because of whelan tightening the purse strings.

Our strikers have done nothing to stop our interest in others.

or excite any interest from other clubs in them

everytime we throw it away :x

thats what you get with a second rate manager, signing third rate players, to be coached by a set of fourth rate backroom staff.
