One up top doesn’t have to be negative especially with 3 attacking midfielders behind but that debates been flogged to death on here.
The formation should be flexible and that team could easily change to the good old 442
Playing 4-2-3-1
Gilks
Daniels Burn Buxton Warnock
McDonald Morsey
Jacobs Powell Colclough
GriggLavercombe
Burke Morgan Hendry James
Byrne Power
Byrne Gilbey Kellett
BogleNo signings needed
Loan players all binned off
Two teams capable of winning league 1 in fact with a proper manager also capable of being competitive in the championshipIf someone asked me to pick a negative defensive formation I couldn’t have come up with a better effort than that Barrow put out yesterday.
Yes we had no fit strikers but that’s why we needed more attack minded midfielders.
Beat ourselves again
Barrow probably.
Gilks nailed on to let one through his legs now

Narrows not happy about it either. The press should ask who is dictating this
The fee is not for Gilks playing its a fee to Stoke for the clown not playing enough games. However this is just the assumption from Barrows insinuations as I said the local rag seem to be in the pocket of the owners and don’t ask the difficult questions
Thought Jakobs was our best attacker and this thread should have been titled ‘Apart from Obertan’
One attack in the second half when Bogle was through he jogged up if he’d had ran as fast as he did when he was subbed he could have been clean through.
His total lack of effort was embarrassing and Barrow didn’t tolerate him, totally expect Giblet or Colclough to replace him now.
We shall see over the next few weeks how good Barrow is, If he turns it round ill be the first to eat humble pie but I wont be holding my breath. He should have gone when Bobby did then just maybe we wouldn’t be searching for a sixth manager since RM left.
Are you seriously saying Barrow is responsible for the failings of 6 managers?
A number 2 can be priceless as we had with Hutchings he was nothing more and failed badly as a manager and have you also forgot Barrow has been sacked before . Time will tell if I’m right but you tell me why you think so many managers had bit the dust here. Whatever style of play formation etc a club should not go through so many managers in such a short time. The common denominator here is Barrow and just maybe some who have been in the hot seat resented having to work with him and it hindered their progress. One fact that cannot be denied is that for whatever reason with Barrow in his role it hasn’t worked whoever the manager was. We have gone down the sacking route and fortunes haven’t changed so look at what else could be wrong. I don’t expect our style to suddenly be cavalier but I’m desperately hoping to be off the mark.
The manager tells the coach what to do & not the other way round. Like another poster has said, Caldwell, Rosler, Coyle, MacKay all had different styles so to think he’s the tail wagging the dog & keeps changing his mind about the style of football he likes, to me, doesn’t make any sense
Now, I’m not saying that he is a good coach, I haven’t got the foggiest, & I do find it odd that he seems to stay no matter who the manager is but to say he is responsible for the failure of consecutive managers doesn’t make any sense
I should also point out that I don’t think he’ll be able to save this season as i don’t think he is a good enough manager
Tyldesley you’ve summed up my thoughts so saved me typing my reply to Nuneaton. However the debates irrelevant really, its whether he can perform the miracle as a manager and keep us up. I’m afraid were all in agreement there, just can’t see it.

Come on lets blame it all on Barrow. All the managers have had different styles, no way Barrow has that influence over them. It’s not as though he’s the assistant either, he’s the coach and he may be a good one for all we know. It’s not him that picks the team and tactics.
Funny then how the report says “Graham Barrow his assistant ” takes over till the end of the season. as for different styles in what way?. Rosler has Fleetwood playing football like he did at Brentford are you trying to tell me he played the same open style here?
Rosler, Caldwell and Joyce were definitely different styles

Come off it, like any manager with an ounce of self respect would agree to that
He has changed the players its the negative stifling tactics that haven’t.
Just because of who his dad is we should now look to Warnock to become more of a leader on the pitch he must pick his dads brains and like him or not Colin Wanker is one of the best in the business at this level. A word in the ear and Warnock the younger may just make a difference .
You don’t think Stephen Warnock is Neil Warnock’s son, do you? :D
Because he isn’t :D :D :D
This is either a wind up or the daftest post ever. Either way very funny.
The question for me is no longer can he keep us up but do I want to watch any more of this negative shite. Easy answer for me.
Don’t score, don’t look remotely like scoring and play not a jot of football.
