Birmingham not guilty
The other two will depend on the outcome of the game of paper scissor stonesRather be us than Hull
Mom was the litter. All over the pitch second half and never got picked upHaha very good
Game summed up were we are really. No quality from our three attacking players. Morsy and Williams tried to put some drive and pace into the attack but it’s a point on the board
All the hard work will be undone? I wouldn’t go that far, are they going to take the points off us? No team has a divine right in this division to beat anyone. Ask WBA and Leeds.
Your right though massive chance to put Luton out of our reach. They won’t claw 9 points back and they know that, history shows these games are always frustrating.
Reckon 50 points sees us safe so 3 on Saturday and it’s a much easier escape route.
Only on this site could I have read such an argument after possibly our best win of the season. Spot on JR amazing how the anonymity of a username on a forum gives people the right to abuse one another. If we all sat in the pub together it wouldn’t happen nor does it on the Facebook forums as your true identity is there for all to see.
Last 10 games = 4th
Last 6 games = 3rd
Last 6 away = 5th
Last 6 home = 16thHome form not good enough .. Cook Out!!!
Anything remotely similar last ten games and we’ll be fine. Amazing to think the abuse he’s had for team selections alone recently but the figures above state otherwise
Reckon we may top a few now
If you use wing backs then the likes of Lowe (natural winger) doesn’t get anywhere near the side. It unbalances the shape. I hate wing backs at our level with a passion. It’s not rocket science if Lowe plays give him his natural position and adopt a flat back 4.
I’m not sure what you mean by wing backs Nuneaton? I call them that in a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formation. Like when we played Preston. In our formation I just think they are full backs in a flat back four which get forward to help the attack. Pretty much the standard for any full back on the modern game.
Technically 4 Lowey as we were drawing with a point, but u make a valid point. Wish pilks was fir more often ….Ha ha very true
Lowe plays as a number ten and has been poor but not as bad as what you may think based on this forum, however scored the winner against Sheffield and set up the winner against Millwall so that’s 6 points he’s contributed recently. Personally agree he’d be better as a winger and Pilks would be a much better number ten.
It was a terrible game to watch but we won with a bit of luck for once. Nothing to moan effort wise, both centre halves were excellent.Form wise were a mid table team so more scruffy dour wins please. Cook in the stands we win. Coincidence?
I firmly believe we should be mid table now. We have won games DESPITE the manager and have certainly lost games BECAUSE of the manager. No matter the outcome of our season we should start next season with a new one.
Best one yet. Absolute belter.

Why?
Take it you disagree Stu?
Fundamentally the post had 3 points
We should be higher up the table and with better tactics, different team selection and most relevant the disasterous substitutions we could have been. Think most would agree?
Secondly Cook HAS cost us wins due to the above mentioned. Again think most would agree with that?
Thirdly and I think this was your issue that we have won despite Cook? Could argue that the very few we have won were down to luck(Birmingham/Leeds) individual players etc. Or maybe I can conceed he got it right for once.

So if we stay up will that be down to Cook or despite Cook?
Despite him

It’s a start but all to late I’m afraid I’m already looking at other results and teams around us win we are fooked.
It very very likely is much too late grumpy but we at least saw a Latics team roll it’s sleeves up and fight for a win ( first in almost 4 months at home )rather than collapse as the clock ticked towards 90 minutes.
Would rather see that for our remaining games and at least leave this dreadful division with some pride and prepare for a hopeful bounce back next year.
Why is it? We’re 4 points behind Charlton who I think have picked up only 8 points in there second half to the season. It’s a 4 team mini comp for me Stoke and Huddersfield were never really in it
