I personally think players need to spot Windass’s runs a little early and get the ball to him Even after just one game Dowell made a comment in his interview about how good Josh is at playing on the defenders shoulders and making those runs.
One split second hesitation from the player on the ball leaves Windass in no-mans land. I’ve been saying it for ages we need a quality player who can preempt those runs rather than wait till Josh has made his move. I do agree though why recall Massey again for what seems like the millionth time for him to do nowt and no doubt be dropped for Jacobs again next week. Who will then do about the same.
Interestingly Gary Roberts appears to have jumped to the top of the pecking order in subs meaning Pilks can’t even get on the bench who most would have starting.

Anyway happy new year to you both and all fellow sufferers we’ve only gone and won a game. Unbeaten this decade.
We are playing well but the fine margins haven’t gone out way. Gone on too long now to be bad luck. The problem is there are no goals in the team. The 3 behind Jacobs Massey and Lowe don’t have a goal in them. Backed up with a combo of Morsey Williams and Evans, no goalscoring midfielders there. Doesnt matter how well you then play if no goalscorers to take the chances.
Change to Pilks Geldhart and Windass behind either Moore or Garner and you’ve got more of a goal threat.
Correct. Cost 4 million to pay him off. Board don’t wanna put more money in and emphasis should be on new centre forward surely.I doubt it’s 4 million to pay him off but id rather go with the same squad and a new boss over the same manager and same squad plus one extra striker to be honest.
Team playing for Manager and this run of us playing so well and losing can’t carry on forever.Isn’t 13 games enough?
What’s unbelievable about us bossing the game,not taking our chances, looking comfortable until we finally take the lead only for Cook to get involved with his subs and then conceed in injury time again?
Don’t think we are far off but Cooks persistence with Jacobs and Massey is frustrating. Only he thinks there a better option than Pilks. Anyone else?

We battled hard, played ok but the reality is scored from one mistake, the only other chance came from another error, created nothing else. However defended really well again. Kipre MOM proved there’s a proper defender in there somewhere. Bit of a gripe when Cook turned up he slowed them down and settled for a point
