It doesn’t make a lot of difference, does it? Because £1m spent by Whelan on a pitch is £1m he won’t be giving Sharpey for players.
I think the interview puts to bed the idea that Rosler will be coming back, given Sharpey’s comments about Riera and Delors being solely the manager’s signings and players who “should never have been at the club”.
I’m just amazed I managed to write an emoji. Who knew that an 8 with a bracket after it would result in that? The learning has started already.
What makes anyone so sure that Jack Byrne’s good enough. No one has seen him play.
I have given this a lot of thought over the years. This is the one that should be played before kickoff. (NB Video perhaps not as good)
Well, Buxton and Burn pick themselves as well.
We definitely need some width, and some midfielders with as much appetite as Morsy. You can tell, too, that the left and right backs are under strict instructions to stay in their own halves and not overlap. The net result is we’re not getting the ball into the box anywhere quick enough. Only our corners and central defenders have improved since Joyce came along.
My team for Sat would be:
Gilks
Connolly Warnock
Tunnicliffe Morsy Perkins
Obertan Bogle Grigg
(Though to be honest, there isn’t much to choose from)
Cheers, I’ll give the Galleries shop a bell. Had used the email on the site and they just said: if you can’t see them on the site, we don’t have them.
Bogdan’s doing his extra training at the clown school.
You could not be more wrong. The whole point of our democracy is that we have a separation of powers between the crown, parliament and the judiciary. In this case, the judges have done their job and said that the government’s position is not lawful. And they have said that the British parliament should have its say, which is precisely what people voted for, isn’t it ? To get their sovereign parliament back. What are you going to do? Go to the European court?
Finally, although there was a majority to remain in the EU in parliament, nobody – Lisa Nandy included – thinks that is how parliament will vote now that the people have had their say. Most MPs will now go along with the will of the people, however wrong-headed that is. And if you doubt that, you’ll notice that the pins immediately rallied when this court ruling came out.
A bit rough on Burn and Jacobs, perhaps, but the rest pick themselves
Jussie
Burke Morgan Buxton Warnock
Perkins. McDonald
Byrne Gomez. Wildshutt
Grigg
Very happy – they were fifth and scoring goals for fun. The defence looked solid and Yanic and Powell caused Brentford problems once they started to tire. Only Gomez and Jacobs looked a bit out of sorts.
Ha ha. It’s like being in grandpop’s living room after a match on here. Anyone got a decent butter and potato pie recipe?
It’s an unfortunate symptom of going up the divisions that decent local youngsters such as Jennings, Chow, Burke, and Flores are now being edged out, especially when it’s in favour of the untested likes of McDonald, Burn and Garbutt. I’d have preferred we stuck with what we had and asked new signings to prove themselves rather than upsetting the equilibrium in such a Rosler-like way.
And Mott The Hoople’s drummer, the Specials’ drummer, Guru Josh and Natalie Cole. That celebrity death spreadsheet’s not seen so much action since Charles Manson’s day.
Is he the ffirst Latics player to own his own fashion label?i suppose there was Hugo De Voss or Gary Benetton
