Sacked – only one point less than bobhead.
Gutted he was certain to take them down  cant see them getting a big name in?heres a big name
DAVE
5 out.
3 in.
When was the last time mighty aff contributed a post without using the word superfan? And what is the definition of a superfan?Just now.
If I had a car I’d drive Mighty_aff to Dover and chuck him off the cliffs :DAll that way? Ace.
I agree about Gomez thought he had a good game just wish he would let fly instead of doing too much, as for scotland the jury is still out on him we all want him too do it but i think he not thinking quick enough in this league
Probably wouldn’t let fly for fear of being slagged off from all corners of the ground.
Or praise from the Superfans
I think we could possibly lose Figueroa, Scharner and N’Zogbia because of the interest in them and the fact we’re a selling club and nothing convinces me anything regarding ambition has changed.I think Gomez and Scotland are getting far too much stick, Rodallega was awful in the 1st half, gave the ball away on numerous occasions but nothing mentioned, as soon as Scotland does something wrong everybody lets him know about it, very unfair and we as fans should be behind our players, not picking up on all mistakes.
As for the dead-wood, I think we need to sell the likes of Bouaouzan, Kingson, Kapo, De Ridder, Cho and Edman + any others I may have missed. A possible loan move for the younger players (McCarthy, Cywka, etc). I agree that we should only sell players that WILL be replaced, we don’t have a big enough or strong enough squad to be selling fringe players.
I think Tamudo is a sealed deal from Espanyol, I also think there may be renewed interest in some of the players we were looking at in the summer (Crusat, Elyseu + others) and I am behind Bobby and trust him 100% to bring in the players he needs providing he is supported by Mr Whelan.
They say it takes a new manager 3 transfer windows to build his team, he has had 1, January will be his 2nd and the summer will be his 3rd and hopefully this time next year we’ll all be talking about how well we’re doing and how far our fans favorite manager, a true Wigan legend has brought us in a short spell.
Roll on January! I bet Roberto can’t wait, he will know exactly what he wants and more importantly what he needs and fingers crossed he’ll keep our big players and build a team that will consistently perform.
He will buy 2 no marks and sell 4 of our better players.
OK he’s not scored. And I’d rather see Rodallega up front and our wingers on the right wings. Works hard though, runs the channels and definitely not our worst Prem forward.I give you Marcus Bent and Marlon King. Both v. poor strike rates and lazy gits. At least Scotland works his Kaiber off. Neither of them had the intelligence to work out that if they’d played off Heskey properly they could have got 15 goals a season.
To have a ‘Strike Rate’ you have to at least have Struck once. Bent did. Even King did. Scotland has a strike rate of zero. And will continue to do so.
Bobhead will send us down if he does not replace Scotland in January.
Griff you are sooo wrong,
the way forward with a player like scotland who,s confidence is rock bottom is not to nurture him but to belittle and abuse him!
Just ask newcastle about bramble or bolton with megson! ;)Yes, I do seem to be wrong more often these days, don’t I?
I felt sorry for the lad last night, that could (I say, could) have kick-started his, and possibly the whole teams’s, season.
6 points off Bolton and Blackburn and we’ll be reyt
Yes – great prediction there.
I must of been watching a different game, When Gomez wasn’t rolling about on the floor he was giving the ball away or being caught in possession. He was awful as was Scotland, And yes before the Scotland lovers leap to his defence, “he played well blah blah blah”, Don’t forget the most important role of a striker, Put the frigging thing in the net, I could have banged in about 10 of his chances this year. My nan could have buried 5.If you boys keep slating Scotland, the Super Fans will have you banned no doubt.
B******* to that Micky, I’d just let most of them go on a free.Yet again Superfan attempts to rule the board through poor sarcasm, and shows of total unified loyalty with what can at best be described as an optimistic, however, poor state of affairs..
Thing is, if you had it your way the ground would be closer to empty than it is now. I pay my money, have done for a good few seasons, and in the current climate am allowed to say what i like about the lack of effort of some of our players. However, should you be able to convince the administrators of this board to clearly state at the top “Only posts saying everything is great, and how far we have come, and not mentioning any of our dismal performances or over rated playing staff (in part), and by the following 6 posters Griff, etc etc can be displayed. Anyone with any opinion contrary to the above is to refrain from posting as the super fans will take great offence at any negative comments”
Well put it this way pal, our Bobby don’t rate him much, the 10m player is on the bench at best. :roll:Its apparent that ‘our Bobby’ clearly rates that no mark Jason Scotland.
You worry about it when you want to Griff…
I’ll have a little worry now based on whats gone on before…and if come January I’m wrong I’ll come back on here and admit I was wrong.
I won’t worry about it at all, ever!
It looks nailed on that Figueroa will go because he wants to.
If Scharner is showing litle or no inclination to stay and someone wants to pay £3m, then he should go too.
I’d prefer to concern myself more with who we might bring in to add to our squad rather than who’s leaving. But worry about it? I don’t think so
Id be willing to bet Scharner, Zogbia, Rodellga, Bramble and Figueroa go in January. They dont want to be relegated, and no doubt with our Spanish Hero eyeing up further Championship players as replacements it might be time, come February to admit that we lived the dream, it was a wild ride, but economics, politics and shear football suicide at times, have taken their toll. Its just a shame we are fizzling out.
