hate to jump in here with my size 8’s, but business rates are paid by the business operated there, if there’s no business operating then the land owner becomes responsible to pay a proportionate amount for 12 months. after that, the property becomes 100% valued once more thus making the ground owner become more pro-active in maintaining a business or selling to one.
business rates are valued upon the value a business can operate.IE any space that can create revenue. so a toilet/staff resting area (not canteen) or a personel car parking space are not valued.
so, to clarify, the business that operates within said premises are liable to rate-able value.if two business operate, then the rate is shared. one premise’s can only generate one business rate value, regardless as to where your office lies.
if the rates are tied in with a lease contract then the landlord will be liable.

ive said this all along, Bobby picks his team, starts with plan A then if it dont work plan B (including sub’s) is non existant. Jones is no where near good enough, neither is Gomez.
