I can’t believe what I’m reading here. So some of you are saying you would really want our team to lose just to stop another team winning the title or go down.
    Fookin pathetic.

Nomally Arky of course i would never want us to lose but this is Utd. In forty yrs as a Latics fan ive had to put up with the glory hunting plastics most of them who slag my club off yet wouldnt even know where Owd Trafford is. I dont care who wins what but just for once i would love to be able to look at a Utd fan knowing that Wigan Athletic had screwed them bigtime

    I hope so.
If they lose tonight and we beat them, how would you feel about the Hull game? Would you be happy to see us lose that one if it sent Spam down?
    I would definitely.

dont want to lose to Hull but if we have situation on last day where as we can stop Man Ure winning title by losing at the Bridge then as long as we are safe

Ok then talking of City who remembers the friendly at Springy N P L select v City? Cant remember the score was too busy dodging the missiles. I was in the terrace to the right of the Phoenix and there was bricks flying everywhere

Joe Mercer was so impressed with the performance by the team when he went to manage Coventry shortly after he took Gordon Milne with him as his no 2 if my memory serves me well. What a performance on the day i kept my rosette with the little silver FA cup on it for years.

To be fair guys we will never re-create the old S C it was a special place and had a unique atmosphere. We really do need a proper club though. On the subject of the old club, where can i get the old s c badge from?. I have lost mine and desperately want to replace it.

Surely the best sporting name of all was the tennis player Berndt Haas and the most innapropriate name was the dirtiest hardest hatchet man that ever walked on a football field, his name Gentile

in reply to: Let’s boo them down #24185

You missed my point David my belief is that its not necessarily the players that are the target of the boo boys. Deehan was probably the most hated person ever to be involved with WAFC so how do we vent our anger and frustration. I openly admit to booing Deehan he was vile and in the end we got our wish and he was gone. Mr Whelan is a bit thick skinned who thinks everything in the garden is rosy so we need him to realise how much we are hurting this season. I wont boo the players as its not their fault if they are not good enough or cant play in the weird way Martinez wants them to play so what im really trying to say is that maybe the boo boys who desperately need to show their angst do so at the right time and in the right direction

in reply to: Let’s boo them down #24153

To all and sundry on here who say they have never boo,ed at the Latics i give you 2 words………….JOHN………DEEHAN. There you go now do you still hold to that?

in reply to: Change of Opinion #22460

Football is all about opinions and Loudmouth has his and as much as you may disagree with those opinions at least he has had the same one throughout the season. Many on here have now changed their tune about RM and now realise he aint up to the job. We can all argue for and against him but you cant defend results and performances.

    in reply to: Guardian #21342

I cant argue with the article unfortunately
