It won’t affect use after last nights defeat league one here we come

You’re obviously not a mathematician, nor a clairvoyant, nor a motivational coach !

I’ve always fancied Fulham for the drop, so here is an alternative scenario:

Wigan – 3 straight wins ( last throw of the dice and GC realises that we need 2 up front and to take some risks, cos it’s shit or bust ) ending in 45 points.

Blackpool V Fulham: Pool win their last home game of the season, for their fans !
Fulham V Boro: Boro must win whilst there is still a chance of a top two finish !
Norwich V Fulham: Canaries need home win for the Championship !

Net result Fulham relegated on 45 points with an inferior goal difference.

    I’ll take that.

So come on Gary, play some brave football :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

And if the F.A do the honourable thing by docking three points off Rotherham, they can still be caught.

The Martinez legacy has affected us; ask The Egg.

    IT’S ALL HIS FAULT

Are any of you voting UKIP. N
Do you think HS2 is a good investment. Y
Should austerity measures include a reduction in foreign aid. Y
Has the Labour party lost it’s identity. Y
Are the Conservatives responsible for the North / South divide. N
What’s wrong with liking a pint & a smoke. Nothing
Are the Liberals a little transgender disorientated; and don’t know who they really are. Y
Should we give Plaid Cymru a one way ticket back to Wales and shut the place. Y
Does Nicola Stugeon think she is a modern day Rob Roy. Who?

Agree with you on your Y answers, all except HS2. Why get to London 20 mins faster ? Okay, getting home 20 mins quicker is good / Back up North where life is much more normal an’t beer is cheaper.

If the Tories haven’t created the North / South divide, who has ?

Sorry, I mean Nicola Sturgeon. If tuition fees were zero ( as per Scotland ) I would have gone to University and learned to spell ! If she is not a reincarnation of Rob Roy, is she Lulu with attitude ? I’d f–k Lulu, but not Nicola.

Are you a closet Tory Public Skool Boy ?

what’s wrong with UKIP; if you take time to check’em out; they are the party of the people.

I have no problem with loan signings as I’ve said before. I’d be looking at signing McGuire and Pearce on a regular basis if we can. Some have had no chance though which I don’t understand when we have players here who could warm the bench/stands.

Keep up Eggy, Pearce is our player !

Do you not come to any games ?

in reply to: Gary Caldwell it is. #140986
Malky was under the threat of the sack at the Reading away game. A win saved him. So maybe Sharpy has had plan B drafted up for a few weeks. Watch the interview and feel encouraged, could turn out to be a refreshing change that we need.

So who would you have appointed Mr Galactic ? When you take your head out of the clouds, come up with a sensible choice with trademark success and no baggage. Mmmm, not easy is it

Just watched Caldwell’s first interview as manager and you can see he desperately wants success at the club. Some good honest words also from the Chairman in the same interview.

I realise they have to be positive, but like when Martinez first took over, he loves the club for what it is or despite what it is. That’s a really important attribute / attitude for a manager of our club to have.

Lets get 100% behind him no matter what happens for the rest of the season or what division we are playing in next season. we will still be Wigan Athletic, the biggest little club in the world.

Yep, good words of wisdom JR.
    You’re often a sensible contributor.

in reply to: Can’t Wait #140977
Yeah with the same backroom staff. :cheer: Cant wait i really cant. :cheer:

By Eck fella; bet your a top motivational coach.
I sort of agree with that Lostock chap; bet you could pick the team and sort tactics. There, I new it; another know it all. Give Gary a fighting chance, for the next three games at least.

    Say after me: C’mon Wigan

in reply to: Well done Malky #140106
We simply must get a win at home now, away we have been fairly steady really and have amassed a fair amount of points. One good result at home on Sat and we will be right back in this. Please lads don’t undo your hard work in the last 2 away games by failing against Leeds, C,mon boys.

Put your lucky sixpence under your pillow until Saturday, wear your lucky underpants on the day of the match and keep your fingers crossed until the final whistle

    We are staying up !
