I think that you are missing the point Skeggy.
Orient, like us, have an equally young squad; but they are not constantly bleating about it.
And Mr Phoenix if you get your calculator out to add up the soft points that we have given away / lost, we could actually be chasing a play off spot. I also think that you are understating SM’s objective for the season, because I recall an interview where he stated his objective was to secure safety as quickly as possible and then see where we can take it

What I can’t understand Lozzie Man, is this modern talk in football:

He’s playing in the hole behind the forwards: FFS our pitch is flat, unless the chubbie eggs have been on it the night before.
He’s picked up the loose ball and is recycling it: WTF is that about; these modern balls should last a lifetime.
He’s played it around the corner: WF king corner; there are no sharp bends signs; it’s a large flat rectangle of green grass.

Midfield, that might as well be in Standish or Bickershaw; because Maloney doesn’t know where it is

He understands what is good for the Tics !

Knowing us we’ll sign a Big Name freebie who is happy to play a couple then sit out the rest of the season in the injury room whilst picking up his bundle.

Seems like you were right LHL.
CW has probably choked on that slice of humble pie :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

That’s one spare ticket for a Manc on the 8th Jan :yahoo: :yahoo:

How many St’s do we have ? Circa 8,000 ?
I’ll put a tenner on the fact that we don’t even manage to sell out our home allocation. Where are the extra 9,000 + Johnny Come Lately armchair fans going to be found (tongue in cheek: in a rugby town)

Looks like it’ll be Irongate (or whatever it’s fancy names is now) for us next season Lostock…

The mother in law lives 5 min walk away so no parking issues…

Is that near Telford ? or am I mistaken ?

They could have at least put a low but moderate amount in the holding account to try and appease the EFL, and claimed that this was their anticipated monthly wages budget for 23/24. That way they would have met the agreement to lodge the funds, despite the estimate being on the low side

So if Lineker is let of the hook, does that make it okay to use the Nazi salute that Lostock Hall mon mentions. I guess it does, it’s the voice of Lineker.

Strategically it is not a well thought out action. What sort of message does it send to any potential Managers who are thinking about throwing their hat in the ring. One minute their blowing smoke up Liam’s backside, then days later he’s out on his ear. Has Liam rumbled the the true intent of the owners with regards to the future of the club? As they say, “there’s no smoke without fire”. I think any potential candidate with an ounce of sense will steer clear of this snake pit, unless they see it as an opportunity to make a quick dollar.
The club have to act swiftly and openly to steady the confidence of the fan base ! Maybe they will announce their plan after today’s game?

If they appoint that mon Evans, that’s my season ticket in the shredder :negative: :negative: :bye:

Bloody hell Derek, are you wearing the same specs as the ref

I think Cup Winners is watching too much Naked Attraction; he’s obsessed with bell ends

Well said MWD :good: :good: :good:

    Fuming after that.

Not at the players who were superb, but at the official. He clearly saw Ferguson as the manager and got confused.

Bloody fuming myself, but why would you touch someone in the box knowing their tactics, all afternoon they were diving around looking for penalties and free kicks, how naïve can you get?

I know its no consolation but the ref was the worst i’ve seen all season, two penalty shouts to us and that tit gave them a free kick!

if I were a skittle. I would take offense at your comment, because the Posh players are not as hard to knock over as a skittle; bunch of tarts if you ask me !

Well Lozzie, if I were a skittle, I would be offended because the Posh players fell over easier that a set of skittles; more like a bunch of tarts. Never did like Darren Ferguson style of management.
