Fantastic win , I am an emotional wreck. Gutted after Saturday and on cloud nine after tonight.Going to have a few scoops to celebrate !
Fuckin’ mind boggling this lot!

Full of shit these men.
Spot on.They have strung out the whole process to maximise their own profits.
In terms of location, accessibility & comfort:
Sunderland
Hull
Doncaster
Peterborough
Charlton
Wimbledon
MK Dons
Plymouth
IpswichPossibles:
Shrewsbury
NorthamptonAbsolute nonsense ! Have you been to any of these grounds?
All, bar Wimbledons.
For those who think the DW is a state of the art stadium, eclipsing almost every ground in L1, I’ll ask this simple question:
In 9 months why hasnt it been snapped up at £3m?
I have no reason to doubt you but if you really have visited these grounds you will agree how inaccessible a lot of them are .The DW is no longer a state of the art stadium I don’t think anyone on here claims that it is but it’s a damn site better and better located than most of the stadiums you have listed. As regards why the ground has not been snapped up,it might have escaped your attention the whole club is for sale not just the stadium.

Most of our fans are absolute idiots Ad. I’d go as far as to say, they are utterly retarded.
For two seasons they have done nothing but slag off Paul Cook and the players because we weren’t challenging at the top of a league in which we were paupers. (Looking where the promoted sides are currently will show you the level of that league)
There were some calling for his head and wanting to appoint people like Nigel Pearson and Neil Warnock. Jesus…imagine the debts if we did something like that.
A few have tried to tell these fans that we have no money and that to survive in the Championship is an uphill task for us but they wouldn’t listen. The fact we had to rely on over £1m a month investment just to balance the books shows you how tough.
Enter administration, and the same group of fans are mouthing off about this that and the other and have literally no idea what state the club is in or how these things play out. Praising players who basically walked out on us and did everything they could to get away.
Start of the season some of these “experts” thought we would win the league. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. No players, but we were going to win the league.
When we are in the exact position that we should be in and giving our everything, these same fans criticise the players, the manager and anyone else throwing shit around like “worst team ever”
I can almost understand it from the new breed who have seen PL, Championship and think we can come down to L1 and bully clubs with parachute payments, but the old breed who know what troubles we have had before and what size of a club we are going on about shit like that is just ridiculous.
I came off the likes of twitter recently because the #wafc handle is just full of these idiots.
Most fans are not idiots or retarded.I would never accuse my fellow Latics fans of that.People make comments out of frustration a lot of the time.Knee jerk reactions that they later regret. We all basically want the same thing ,for Latics to be successful. It’s been incredibly difficult since we have been in administration. We have been lied to and kept in the dark by people who do not have the best interests of Wigan Athletic at heart. Is it any wonder people let off steam on fans forums. Most of it you can take with a pinch of salt.
Course they know the basics of defending, they’re just shit and make more cock ups than less shit players.
With no defensive coaches there will be nobody pointing out their mistakes and looking at ways of improving them. We look like a side from Little Lane because we are one.
I will agree though that Curtis Tilt is a terrible footballer and his history shows that. He wouldn’t get anywhere near our starting 11 if I was picking the side TBH.
What were you saying about fans slagging off the players.
Its his own fault, Richardson had the chance to bring in a couple of coaches but instead decided to bring in 9/10 journeymen that no one else wanted at the same time allowing a few youngsters to leave that were actually getting to grips with League 1.
Even though i respect his loyalty to the club and cause he has dropped one almighty bollock here and he knows it, no point moaning about it now.
Absolutely spot on .I think we were wrong releasing the academy lads.It did not sit right with me.We needed 2 or 3 experienced players in the January window to help out the young lads I think we brought in quantity over quality and we are paying the price.
My big worry now is that any potential buyer will offer a lower amount and take the 15 point deduction this season ,but out of spite the admin will delay any takeover to make sure the points are deducted next season.

Great win ,Northampton were not great but our defence looked a lot more solid tonight. All the other results went our way ,hope we can build on this and get out of the bottom four.Funny what a win can do ,all of a sudden I am feeling a lot more positive.
I don’t think Danson has any interest in buying Latics.I also don’t think Begbies have any intention of selling Latics at the moment. Why would they ? Sell Latics now for £3 million or sell them in six months for £3 million and pocket another six months fees at something like £350 per hour ,no brainer as far as they are concerned.
Wooton a bit of experience and will be a good asset I think. Tilt offers nothing.
I am not convinced with either Tilt or Wootton they are certainly not a good partnership. Not sure Wootton is match fit.Like you say in time with games under his belt he could well become an asset .The problem is we have not got time ,we need to start getting results now.
Not sure who decided to drop Whelan or Johnstone for Curtis Tilt. Terrible footballer.
We need to find a settled 11 and stick to it. Our performances improved massively when we were turning the same side out, and now we have gone back to chopping and changing every game it’s no wonder we look out of shape. Players need game time.
Good point ,I thought Johnston and Whelan looked solid at the back against Fleetwood.Johnston looked a decent player but has not had a look in since.I would probably have taken Tilt back as back up but I am not sure there was any need to bring in Wootton. The back four looked slow and disjointed yesterday against a really poor side.
Let’s not just make Jamie Jones the scapegoat here .The defending for all three goals was absolutely shocking.
Hang on hang on, he came flying out for nn reason. Regardless of the defence if he makes himself big the lads first gotta get the ball at pace then beat the keeper again at pace and from a tight angle. Good keepers read the situation not come diving out at a dead ball !!.
Sunday league keeping at its best
Together with Sunday league defending ! Look ,I am not Jones’s biggest fan he was at fault for the third goal.Having said that we should have been tighter on the lad who back heeled the ball. The first two goals were just rank bad defending and should have been prevented.
