Is officially a 4 poo game.
why does he bother zoggy in the middle hello out of position cleverly on wing oops out of position again, subs off moses, rodney, and keeps watson on that is why we are bottom he hasnt got a clue and not forgetting nzogbia off hello we need to win games :angry-banghead:
the rat pit you wanted to play on a few years back …never forget !!!! :lol:just like u wanted to play a game at our ground :shhh:
we gained fans leaving springfield park they lost fans leaving central rat pit but they say there loyal :shhh:
Listen, at the end of the day we get more on at home than the rugby FACT ! Thats all that matters to me because they used to say it was a rugby town and it quite clearly isnt anymore end of !!:happy-partydance:
And there my boy, you see one of the reasons why football is so popular and Super League is not. You can get relegated at football, and if you win enough games, you can get promoted again. There’s always a dream and always something to aim for.
In Super League if your face fits, they’ll see you right. ;)
yeah , it must be great to spend more than what comes in on foreigners who dont give a toss about your shirt & running the business at a constant loss
face fits ? try telling widnes that
what have they done , 9 years away from where they should be (imho)
wigan worriers dont have any foreigners in there squad then :liar:They must of took over 6500 like Warrington did last week then
:naughty: :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:Strange how the visiting end holds 2000 more for a rugby match than it does for a football match. I thought rugby fans were twice the size of football fans!
I thought the North Stand held 5400, which was reduced to 4500 due to it being unreserved seating for Rugby matches, so I think your maths may be out, particularly when you consider that there were quite a few empty seats in the North Stand.
Secondly, granted Warrington brought around 4000 last Friday, but when you compare how many (few) they take to anywhere other than Wigan and St Helens, you’ll find that over the season, more Wiganers travel to away games than anyone else.
I note you dont dispute the bit about the Latics’ travelling support – however I’m surprised you didnt try to compare it to a to a trip to Bolton for Fulham to massage the statistics!
Any more freebies going for today?
You say it like thugby dont give free tickets away, which they do, when rugby is bigger than football come back, now run along
it doesnt really matter really, but i would say its for our stripe going down our shirts, if it helps :happy-partydance: they will be spraying the seats pink next
I dont know if some of these comments are on the wind up or some are so thick that they cant see the financial side of thingsPSki
In your view you want the club to go the way of Pompey I assume spend a fortune on limited resources
Vat
Agree with your point of view regarding finances but I expect the club to put up a fight and stay in this league and if we go down then that address the balance on wages that we can afford
Hindley Blue
Just a wind up merchaent
Mighty aft
:teasing-knob:must be me, but in all my posts when have i ever said we have to spend a fortune, as a club of our side we need to get in the other clubs faces and to do this you dont need to have the most gifted of players nor the more expensive of players, like we used to have and like blackpool now, but bob is trying to make us play like arsenal which we cant do with the the players we can afford, that is why he is the wrong man for our club and the style we need to have to survive,
Vat how much has Bob spent in his two years as Wigan manager????? Upwards of £20m. Not sure any of our other managers have had so much financial backing without having to sell first. And Bosselli was our top earner so how is he reducing the wage bill.Vat which ever way you try and dress it up he has been an absolute disaster.
Don’t forget he spent money on Gary Chuckle and the goal machine that is DiSanto. He has spent a fortune and unlike other managers has not had his best players sold from under him. This guy is the worst manager we have ever had, how the fook can people defend him is beyond me.
Maybe I’m defending the f**kin club?
Whilst I can. Because give it a couple more seasons as we are, and everyone can go and find something else to do on a Saturday.
We’re going down, and I for one, am glad. No really, I am. I’ll go to far more away games, and will enjoy it a lot more. It’s our ideal level. Sammon will score a bagful next season.
Why would you want a good season in the championship, we could get back in the prem, and that would ruin the club, priceless :angry-banghead:So we may as well pack up our bags now, The reason we are in this position is that we dont score enough goals and that we concede goals like they are going out of fashion, and that is down to a certain person, and for us being better off going down, well i would love to hear mr whelans response to that one, your post just shows how much you love martinez no matter what he as done to the club as a manger, ps if you were to ask all the championship clubs were they would like to be, i would guess they would all say the prem, but eh not you, you want us down
No, I want us to still have a club to support, be that in 2013, 2025, 2037, or whatever.
I don’t care what level we are playing at, as long as we are still in business. And we cannot continue to operate at this level.
I cannot believe that any genuine Wigan Athletic supporter will be selfish enough put the price of Premiership football above the overall value of us surviving as a club.
Can you not comprehend the position we are in? As things stand, the debt is secured until 2012. So we have a year to rectify things.
we will still have our debt if we go down if not more, so we may as well get another fifty mill yes fifty mill, which is 34 mill more if we go down, not including the sale of nzogbia at 10 mill, so that would 44mill, so you want us to go down makes a load of sense,Not suited to playing up front on his own and Bob has stated himself he struggles to play as the lone striker. So why does Bob persist in keep playing the lone striker??? Scotland couldn’t play that roll Hugo can’t Boselli couldn’t DiSanto is utter gash and couldn’t.A good manager picks a system that suits his players
  :doh:It doesnt help when hugos first touch is like an elephants
