I was only thinking the same this morning. Even though i wanted him gone as manager, i do believe he could have been a good coach

I fully understand where you are coming from cupwinners, especially the bit were you mention fans staying away. I’ll still be here no matter how good or bad the football is. A supporter is supposed to support his/her club through both the good times, bad times & the absolute horrid.

It gets on my ti*s when supporters only want to support a club during good times.

Anyone who believes that Kenny Swains Latics is worse than this crud has never watched football before.

I have always said the football under kenny swain was the worst i have ever seen…….

Until this mon came in.

Problem is not joyce but the person who employed him thats where the buck ends._.Thats the fxxxk up

Last season, sharpie could do no wrong. This season has been a disaster. Hope he learns from this.

I consider myself a lightsider. But i 100% agree with you.

Go NOW!!

in reply to: Joyce out. NOW!!! #156551
No doubt he’ll reel off the excuses without having the balls to admit he’s got it wrong. I’m almost resigned to life in Div 1; so young Sharpie needs to act promptly, otherwise season ticket sales for next season will be non existent !

Joyce Out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listening to his post match interview on my way home up the m6 & 62. He blamed the players for playing poorly & being 2nd best to the ball.

No signs of improvement feel so sorry for all the players I believe they want to win. The manager is at fault the fans and the players both frustrated they can do so much better. Just awaiting the news now from the club now think we will hear it Monday.

Exactly! & imo, dan burn especially was outstanding & played with passion & committment.

:S

Well Joycey specialises in signing unfit players. He also discussed Jack Byrne in the article. Byrne hasn’t played since August when he played for Blackburn. Another useless signing in the window. Another needless signing.

Stop bleating on Donny about the January signings it is getting tiresome, you need to look forward man instead of moaning about the past.

Read what WJ has to say about the matter and it might make you finally understand the situation.

I’m 100% behind why he signed these players and how he’s handled them and if we are not out of the bottom 3 come end of season, I will hold my hands up and say he made the wrong decisions.
If like Obertan and Gilby, they come in at the right time and contribute enough to get us out the bottom 3, we should all stand and applaud WJ and his team. The problem is if we finish 21st, some on here will moan about us not finishing 20th.
JR, the problem is warren joyce. He did indeed make some good signings in january, but employs such boring & negative tactics, that it isn’t bringing the best out the best in these “decent” players. I’m ususally patient & reasonable. But, i, like many others, cant take any more of this mon.

A positive line up. Can’t afford the Forest/Rovers fiascos again. Just have to go for it or go down.

Gilks

Daniels
Buxton
Burn
Warnock

Obertan
Perkins
Gilbey
Colclough

Bogle
Grigg

Subs Jussi Morgan Jacobs Kellet Mandron

Agree with most of that donny, but i would replace one of gilbey or colclough with either tunnicliffe or hanson.

Wasn’t it kevin lynch who paul rogers once barged into him on purpose, but made it look an accident.

In similar fashion, i remember don page (not you donny. Im talking about THEE don page) approach a fan who was giving abuse. He was stood quite close to me (popular side) & his mate turned to him & said “he’s talking to you there mate!)

I remember Neil Midgeley stopping a game because of the abuse he was getting from Golly. He went across to the edge of the pitch and told Golly to stay where he was while he went to get a policeman. Needless to say he’s scarpered by the time he got back.

You beat me to it. I remember that as well & funnilly enough, was going to post a similar post.

Forgive me if this one has already been mentioned, as i dont really want to go through so many posts. But i remember one game at springfield park where the linesman had a pie chucked at him.

in reply to: In Defence of Joyce #156362

They’d prefer to be still been at “Good owd Sprinfield Park” watching sh”t football drinking sh”t Bovril under a tin sh”t hit hut on swimming pool sh”t pitch.
This thread is on par with War and Peace it’s that long
The only difference nowadays is that we are all at the DW watching sh*t football, paying for overpriced bovril on a pitch that gets torn apart by the eggs.
