Im just looking forward to a really good season tbh whatever happens. Im looking forward to this one more than the past 7 seasons.
Hope he stays myself but we can get 2 – 3 decent championship.players for that money.
Very true garswood.
Quite a lot turned up galactic to be fair & a few cracking photos with my son, his mate & a few players including the FA cup winning goalscorer – which sounds good in any sentence.
Thanks for the info 35.
Im looking forward to next season already. The past couple of years have seemed like a chore to go – even though i will always go. The championship i know, will definitely renew my passion. again.
how could the end of last season have been a “chore” that period will live with forever as pur utter pleasure. Football of the highest quality![/quote]
Sorry fatmando. The FA cup was a unique, magnificent & very emotional day & what a ride it wasgetting to the final. Looking forward to seeing the programme now in our “honours” role. What i was referring to was for me personally the past 3 – 4 years in the premier league especially have felt like a chore & nothing to do with martinez, it is how i & a few others in fairness have felt. I feel next season will really ignite my passion in going & watching again & playing teams who have genuine & honest fans. Roll on august.
This is my first post here, so hello to everyone. :)As my name suggests, I have supported the Latics all my life since the mid-seventies so have seen it all and to be quite honest apart from the first couple of years in the Premiership, I started to find it all quite dull and just a big excuse for the bottom half of the league to fund the top six and there european money making exploits … we were never really playing for anything for most of the season, until we needed our great escape routine, but all that did was start the cycle all over again.
As I stood to clap the lads at the final whistle at the Emirates I thought forward to next year and suddenly it was something to actually look forward to ….. the prospect of matches where any team could win, the local derbies, the chances of some young homegrown talent playing for the Latics again …… it would all start to mean something again.
I hope the manager stay, I hope we keep our players, but the reality of it is that we probably won’t – unless the draw of playing in Europe keeps them around until the January window opens ….. but what a chance to build a new team of heroes to support, the chance to see what this club and its supporters are really about.
Me and my three boys will be there next year come what may – supporting the Latics in what could be a brilliant year of football. Forget the Sky hype about the EPL, we are going back to real football !!!!
Hello & welcome to the forum. A very good debut post.
I know a lot of everton fans (like liverpool fans from last season) who dont think he’s good enough.
No its a serious question. My son is bringing his mate to his first ever football game & they would both like to meet the players. Hence the reason for my question.
Man United at Wembley, Bolton away, Blackburn away, Burnley away, Huddersfield away, Blackpool away, Leeds away, Yeovil away, Brighton away, Feyenoord away, Hamburg away, Fiorentina away, retaining the cup … this is going to be a cracking season. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:My sentiments exactly.

Good point doodelio. Going down is not the end. Stress free football next season. Just like oud days.
Boycie
The newcomers are coming to support the town of wigan in the FA cup final.
The people who sit in & around me in E6 talk utter tosh from 1st minute to last & heaven help watson or gomez during the game, even when they haven’t got the ball.
