In all fairness the whole team played well. They played some good stuff throughout the game. The type of football I’m sure we would all be happy to see week after week.
Really no idea what convinced Jones to have a drink at the stage he did. WTF he was thinking God only knows.
Who’s better than what we’ve got ? If Unsworth comes we will get relegated. On current form and 2 season away record I’d say pretty much anyone.
Already said it. We have an ex manager- well 2 to be exact, sitting on their arses. I say bring Peter Reid in. He would kick a few backsides.

I will always continue to attend games (work permitting off course as always in my case). I’m a supporter who will continue to give my support through the good, bad & ugly times. When our attendances dropped to an all time low in the early – mid 90s (pre Whelan), I was still there watching arguably the worst team ever to wear our kit. I will continue to watch my club if they end up in the same league as whatever runcorn linnets are in. Even runcorn town who are in the league below the linnets.
But, all being well, I’ll be there Wednesday night supporting the lads & getting behind them. But even as a happy clapper myself, I might start chanting Cook Out if things aren’t starting to go to plan.
What is Peter Reid’s role at the club exactly? He would kick a few backsides.
A good protest (if that’s what people wanted to do) is to walk out around the 80 minute mark when we are winning as if to say “you stop playing after 80 minutes so why should we stay and watch”That sounds quite good Egg. As well as “cook out” chants. Even I have had enough now!
Can anyone who travelled to Luton enlighten us why he took Pilkington off and brought Massey on. Is it a case of poor substitutions again ?Cook was probably playing FIFA on his ipad again.
Although it was a different era, Brian Clough turned average footballers into league & European cup winners. The fault in our team lies solely at the manager I’m afraid.
Yes it is…..something wrong on the coaching side when we collapse, dead on our feet continually 75 mins on and look way below our oppositions fitness levels. Its a results business remember and he’s a stain on the name of our club. The useless money taking executives have allowed this to fester for 12 months………you cannot defend him. He has turned some of these players into zero confidence nervous wrecks…..Said it for ages ……he stays …we are screwed on the pitch and financially off it…..I’m starting to agree with you Derek
Absolute bloody rubbish Wigan !Hate to say it, but he has to go now !
Should resign straight after this game!
I went to school with Barry – he was in my year. It certainly puts everything in life into perspective. If you are a poster on here Barry, once again, I wish you all the best & I know you will fight this.
So we either don’t work on them or they still do it despite it being drilled into them all week.Or, perhaps egg, the players aren’t listening to him.
I know we are shit and our Manager has lost the plot, but please don’t pass on your apathy and annoyance on this competition. Its the only bit of light relief we have from this disatrous season we are having.
We only had 15 posters for Match Ten against Reading.
So forget the football, we know that’s shite brush everything else aside and concentrate on this competition instead and lets get the figures up again.
Come on, you know its more fun than the matches so have a bloody go, its hardly taxing.
Any new players can join anytime, you only need a third place to be out of the relegation zone (eleventh from bottom) and you would soar over Nuneatonlatic and GoalsGalore who are the San Marino and Finland of the competition on NIL POINTS.
Match Eleven West Bromwich Albion Wednesday 11th December.
No predictions so far.
Sorry horc! I didnt mean to sound apathetic. Merely a tongue in cheek comment;)
I’m beginning to believe it’s now time to go.
