Too many great keepers on the list. I would vote for them all if I could.

Just this minute finished watching this. Some absolutely fantastic, corking memories. For some strange reason my hayfever played up several times whilst watching it.

    You do right !

I always have except this time…..ordered on line 2 weeks ago an seen nowt !

Yep! I just prefer it that way. I drive down to my parents, then a walk down the canal to the stadium. Have a look at the stadium again, renew my tickets & get them there & then.

Like others, I expect promotion in 19/20 rather than hope for it.

Hmmmm! Those who EXPECT are the ones who tend to be hugely disappointed when a season ends in failure again.

Was it actually done by a rugby fan(s)? I wonder if it was done by a Wigan born plastic manc/scouse supporter.

Just renewed mine & my sons for next season. I prefer the old fashioned method of driving down to Wigan & getting it in person.

I’ve been down to renew our season tickets & spotted it. Disgusting!!

Jason Scotland suited Bob’s dull boring style. Boseli has been one of many who have failed as strikers at One Up Top Tics!

His boring style of play donny might land him the Barca job!

Was confirmed by your Chairman Donald that you paid 3 million on twitter.

The figure of £4m was quoted earlier in the thread by Nuneaton. There’s your difference.
No mutt 4 million was the figure in the media at the time of sale. Probably with add ons granted so are you now going to deliberately stay in league one so you don’t have to pay the full fee of course not. Truth is we may lose a bit if you don’t progress but it cost your club a lot more. Certain players suit certain clubs Grigg and Powell being prime example. We tolerate and accept faults in these players because our expectations are lower. We know Powell has injury woes and Grigg isn’t prolific but we still gave them support. To be honest mutt Sunderland fans were on Griggs back almost as soon as he got there and that’s the real difference
In much the same way the stoke fans will be on Powell’s back.

So much for 0% , someone somewhere is charging £30 for doing it, f in joke , not happy , yes its great value if you attend every game but for me who is a season ticket holder but can only attend so many games (5 last season so works out £55 a game) it takes the piss oh well flexi friend it is then apply for a new credit card with 0% #whyamimoaning .
Have a good summer folks when it finally arrives.

Why are you buying a season ticket if you can only attend a handful of games pers season? :silly:
TBF, cos of my work, I regard a good season for me as being able to attend at least 10 – 12 games per season. For me it still works out cheaper to buy a season ticket. 2 seasons ago in league 1, most of my weekends off fell on latics days, so I was able to attend most games. Last season I attended 12.

A ruthless coach too or the ultimate pro. He was having a right go at Sterling after the final whistle.
I wonder how he would have been if he had come to play for us when he was linked. Could he have become manager and what could he have done with an invisible warchest rather than with Billions? How good would he actually be without the money?

That same question was asked towards the end of the final. At the end of the day, money or no money, the guy still has to manage 11 players on the pitch & get them to gel as a team. And I can imagine there are massive egos there too, & that’s just those sat on the bench.

Would have been a different game had we got to the final……

Dave Cusack of Doncaster who was also known as a hard man

I always thought it was Bobby. I do remember that game & that scuffle he had.
